Raised Garden Planter 4.2 5 11 11
Good Not as deep as I thought but easy to assemble and feel study enough April 9, 2014
Looks Great! I have not used it yet because I plan on using it on our new deck but it looks like what we were expecting and more. March 13, 2014
Works Great Ordered for my herbs, wanted them closer to the kitchen, instead of in the greenhouse. Works great. Drains well, easy assembly and affordable. Not usually a fan of anything plastic outdoors, but this is really sturdy when filled. Directions say not to move it once filled, but I have moved it several times for good sun and it never bowed or weakened. Surprised and satisfied. September 3, 2013
Garden Planter Our garden planter is better and bigger than we expected. We have plenty room to nurse all our orchids back to health. August 16, 2013

Answer:
No, it does not need a liner. I use this for MANY different things. One way is: I am using one to catch rain water just to see how much rain we got. As of now it is almost full of water and not dripping at all. Of course, as a planter, you just take the plug out and it can drain if it got too much water for the plants. Plus as a planter, you could and I would line the bottom with small gravel or small rocks. However, not necessary.

Answer:
Thank you for your question.
A liner is not required for this planter. If you choose to add your own liner please keep in mind that there is a drain plug on the bottom side of the planter to drain excessive water.

Answer:
Thank you for your question.
Improvements checked with the manufacturer and they stated that the planter was never tested for tomato plants and would not recommend it.
With soil added to the planter they indicated that there would just over 5-1/2" of planting depth for the roots to grow. Tomatoes normally would need 6".
