Where's the hardware?
We returned a hammock purchased at a local store because the quality was inferior and there was no hardware to connect to a stand we had purchased. We ordered this hammock because we have been satisfied with past purchases from Improvements. The description stated "...plus polyester roping and attached metal chains to hook to a hammock stand." There was no attached metal chains or metal chains in the packaging. Again, not able to complete hammock to use. My husband went out to the local hardware store to purchase the additional materials which cost $20.00. Therefore, the "savings" for your special was not a savings after all. The hammock was marked down $20.00 and we had to pay an extra $20.00 for the hardware which was not included as described. Thus, the fair rating for value.

Expected More
The product looks nice, fits perfectly, and seems to be comfortable. However, I expected more; I was disappointed in the thickness of the quilting and the precautions in getting it wet. After all, we want the hammock outside (i.e. in the weather) not inside!

Great Buy
Had to wait a while for it but it was worth it. The best deal I found on hammocks. Did not have to buy chain as it fit perfectly between the two posts. Looks great on our patio.

Some good, some not quite.....
I had hoped that it was a heavier fabric and more "stuffed" so that it had less sag, but I am compensating with canvas.

I would like to know wherre the hammockk 423687 is manufactured, what are the 'metal' chains and hooks made of (stainless steel?) and will it drain water if left out during a rain?

Thank you for your questions.The hammock is made in India. The metal chains and hooks are not stainless steel but a mild steel and are galvanized (zinc coated). The hammock will drain water if left out in the rain. Like any type outdoor fabric product Improvements recommends that you remove and store the item away from inclement weather such as a heavy rain.
