Rated 5 out of 5 by quick and space saving.. Will save a lot of closet space for whole year.... October 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Purchase Ever I bought this last year on clearance and we put it up today. We were extremely pleased by the ease of putting it up and most importantly, the beauty of the tree. We are seniors and so tired of struggling each year with Christmas trees. This is a beautiful tree and it exceeds my expectations. Once you overcome the learning curve, it should only take 10 minutes to put it up. November 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pullup Tree So easy to put up. Looks wonderful. Stores simply. Glad I decided to get this. Up and done in less than 10 minutes. November 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love the Versailles Pull-up Christmas Tree!! When I saw this Christmas tree in your catalog, I thought what a great idea! I know for myself, some years you want to bring out all of your special ornaments to decorate your tree and some years you want your decorating to be simple and easy. Well, this tree was definitely simple and easy to assemble and the best part is that it is absolutely beautiful!! It is even more beautiful in person than in the photos in the catalog. All I added was a gold bow as a topper and a gold tree skirt and our Christmas tree was complete. I loved it so much I ordered the Barcelona Pull-up tree as another option when I decorate with a red theme instead of gold. Thank you Improvements for offering this tree and Merry Christmas to everyone! December 16, 2015

Answer:
Yes, there is always room for extra ornaments. It would probably be a good idea to take them off before collapsing the tree. Especially if the ornaments are breakable. If you decided to use extra ornaments and want to leave them on the tree, please be very careful in storage of the tree so they won't get broken or "fall off" the tree.

Answer:
YES, but be aware that this is not a tree with branches. It's more of a giant cone. So if you attach an ornament it will sort of lie along the side of the tree rather than hang from a branch.

Answer:
The tree does not have branches. So there is nothing really sticking out of the tree where you could hang your ornamnets. However, you could put an ornament hook onto the tree and attach the ornament. Just keep in mind that rather than hanging from a branch it would pretty much just lie up against the tree at an angle.

Yes, you can hang ornaments using the wire hooks. The tree is beautifully decorated but you can certainly add anything that you want.

Answer:
It appears that decorations on the tree could be removed and "own ornaments" hung from the tree. Would not let them be too heavy though. I plan to do so, but have not yet.

Thank you for your question. Yes, you can add some lightweight ornaments to the Pull-Up Trees. Please be sure to remove them before packing the Pull-Up Tree away after the season is over.

Answer:
Yes, there is glitter on the decorations. And yes it comes off easily. However after the initial popping up it will probably not come off so readily. If you place you tree skirt under the tree before popping it up that should catch the excess glitter.

Answer:
Yes, most of the ornaments have glitter on them.
I would not say that the glitter comes off easily. But this may be a matter of opinion. I gently ran my fingers over one of the ornaments and only a very few flakes of glitter were on my fingers afterwards. There isn't glitter falling all over the place if that's what you were worried about.
Also, my answers were all given based on the model with the bright red flowers and gold ornaments. I believe that model may be called the Barcelona, but I'm not positive.

Questions about branch spacing and bunching

We see that all bottom branches (rungs) are bunched together and when all is assembled the tree doesn't hang evenly between spiral rungs. We notice there is a "string" connecting all the rungs and it doesn't seem to be evenly spaced either. Is there and easy way to get this tree to hang evenly without cutting/breaking the connecting string?

Answers

Answer:
In response to the 2 answers (trueshopper and staff), I still don't understand HOW to adjust the tree's spiral rungs to be more even by using the string attached to the rungs of the wires. Can anyone provide detailed direction for how to accomplish this? Right now all I can see is to cut the string and try to adjust and then re-tie the string; however, this doesn't sound like a good way to do this. Any/All help is appreciated. I like the tree and the ease of putting it up, but right now it doesn't look "symmetric" for the space between rungs, especially at the bottom of the tree. (see photos on my original post).

Answer:
There aren't any branches. It's rings with garland wrapped around them. One can use the string to make adjustments. Also check to make sure the middle pipe is in the stand with the screws making the tree vertically balanced.

I've had my tree for three years and I absolutely love it. A few of the lights have burned out and I am reluctant to try to remove any for fear of breaking them. Can they be removed? If so, just by pulling or by twisting or exactly how? Can they be replaced with standard lights that I might buy in a retail store?

Answer:
It looks like the replacement bulbs are standard mini-light type bulbs. Here is what the instructions say to do:
Undo bulb locking tab on side of socket. Gently grasp the plastic base of bulb. Do not pull on glass bulb section. Pull up and out of socket. Align base of bulb and locking tab to socket. Push in til firmly seated. Lock tab securely. DO NOT TWIST BULB.
Hope this helps.

My tree just arrived and when I took it out of the box and plugged it in, only the first 3 bottom rows will light up. I was wondering if someone can tell me how many sets of lights are on these trees? It might make it easier when I try to find out which light bulb is burned out.

Answer:
There are two different plugs in the tree. Look in the center of the tree to see if you can find the plug for the top portion of the tree and plug it in. There were directions that came with our tree that warned us about this ahead of time.

Thank you for your question. There are 2 sets of lights on the Pull-Up Trees. Bringing the Pull-Up Tree down to floor level will make it easier to find the second set and plug them into the first.
