Lamplighters Backup Light

There's no need to fumble for matches or candles during a blackout when your table or floor lamp is equipped with our Lamplighters. The Lamplighters Backup Light includes six bright LEDs that immediately brighten the room when the power goes out. The Lamplighters Backup Lights shine for eight hours when using all six LEDs (16 hours when using two LEDs).

The Lamplighters Backup Light screws easily into a standard floor lamp or table lamp just between the socket and bulb (incandescent or compact fluorescent). The Lamplighters built-in batteries are always recharging while the backup light is in your lamp. The minute you loose power, the Lamplighters Backup Light is ready to break-through the darkness. During daytime power outages, the Lamplighters unique photocell senses the power outage and waits until dusk before turning on the backup lights.

The Lamplighters Backup Light is controlled by a pull-chain and has a manual on/off switch. When used in a 3-way lamp, the Lamplighters Backup Light will only work on one light level. If your lamps are controlled by a wall switch, be sure to set the switch "on" so the backup lights can recharge. Not for halogen bulbs, ceiling fixtures, bulbs over 100 watts, lamps with timers, in enclosed globes or shades. ETL - listed.
