Portable Sprinkler System 3.3 5 19 19
Exactly What We Needed We just purchased our first home and unfortunately don't have automatic sprinklers. This system works great for watering our new landscaping and is not blatantly obvious/visible to people as they drive by. It gets the job done and is so much better than hand watering. The only down side is that with the more sprinkler heads you attach together, the lower the water pressure with each one. We have four connected together as we have a large flower bed and the last one in the line has the least amount of water pressure. I'd still buy it again and recommend it to anyone else out there looking for a good solution to watering flower beds. July 25, 2013
Easy sprinkler system This sprinkler system is great. Its easy to hookup and use. The eight different spray patterns available give flexibility and meet our needs. The hoses are durable. The only thing I would change is providing longer than 6' hoses between the connections. Very happy with this purchase. September 5, 2013
Well improved sprinkler I have brought these sprinklers before and the new ones are a vast improvement over the old ones. First they replaced the plastic connections with metal ones. Second the sprinkler head has more options. Third they replaced the hoses with non kink hoses that fold up better and easier to store or use. Fourth the price was cheaper than before. I think I paid around $30.00 for the last set, and only $20.00 for these. Ended up buy two sets. So far so good. September 18, 2013
Portable Sprinklers These appear to work great, were easy to set up and I love them. I can't attest to the quality quite yet as I have only had them one week, but I believe they will be great, so much in fact that I ordered a 2nd set! June 24, 2014
New but pleased I was looking for a way to provide a regular watering to a plot of annuals without having to waste water or move sprinklers. I have only had the system for about 2 weeks but it is doing exactly what I was looking for. Thinking of getting a second set for another hard to handle area. July 11, 2014
The concept is good but.... This product looks great - and functional - in the catalog but in reality, the product is very cheap plastic and the sprinkler heads are pointed in the wrong direction to be of functional use when all connected. If you want to water a flower bed, you have to use the "full circle" spray setting and place it in the middle of the bed and if you hook up an additional set, making it 6 heads, the water pressure isn't regulated to work that far down the line. I like the product but wish it was a heavier plastic and better regulated. July 29, 2014
ok for the price they do what they say...the hoses could be longer since there's a lot of overlapping water spray, and the sprinklers look like they may break easily (made of cheap plastic) May 14, 2013
Could be better These work okay. The sprinklers have lots of spray choices. But I wish I would have asked if the hose fitting were made of metal - they aren't. They are plastic. So I'll have to be real careful that I don't tighten them down too much and strip them. But the sun will probably degrade these over time. I would have paid more for metal fittings. Also, it would be nice if the individual sprinklers had some way to adjust the flow. The lead sprinkler gets a lot of water but there's not enough water pressure by the time the water reaches the last spinkler in the series. In other words, this does not work like the picture represents. Instead of running the sprinklers in series, I added a 3 way diverter to the main hose and ran each sprinkler separately from the 3-way. July 9, 2013
A time saving system This system allows about 24 linear feet of coverage, which is nice but the amount of overspray is large. The hoses need to be about 4 feet longer in length to reduce the overspray. The hoses should connect to the spray units on the sides instead of in front and behind the spray. Current placement can create a kink in a hose. It would be helpful if the arrow were a different color or raised more to make it easier to find. Hardware and units are plastic & hose is a flexible "cloth like" material. System is ok for the cost but won't last more than a season or two if you are lucky. July 10, 2013
Nice Idea I think the concept is good, but I was unable to use this with the water pressure that I have. I live in a rural area and have a well. My pressure is good for most everything, but not enough to make this work. I'll probably end up giving it to one of my city friends. For that reason I am unable to recommend this product. A minor design flaw Concept of this product is good...but the placement of the dial setting is difficult to use. It is located right where the hose connections are - forcing the spray to aim toward the hose instead of into the garden. The setting should be located in the middle of the space between the hoses. This allows you to lay the hose at the edge of the bed and the spray going into the bed. August 9, 2014
PORTABLE SPRINKLER SYSTEM With the level of areas to be water, I hoped for a system that would require easy assembly. This did not provide ease or convenience. The various "sprays" were difficult at best to " line-up ", the fabric hose required repeated repositioning (need to be heavier gauged) Just did not work for me. I need expedience! September 11, 2013
None My first time in use the hose connecting to the sprinkler came undone in 2 places. Real bad Quality. August 25, 2013
Not enough water flow to reach 3rd head Great idea but doesn't work for me. The first head works perfectly but there is minimal water reaching the 2nd head and barely a trickle coming from the 3rd head. This is with the system turned on full force which makes the first head overspray. Would not buy again. Decided to use it in a different way so it's not a complete waste of $$. Separated it into 3 lines and ran it off a 3 way faucet adapter on a timer to potted plants. Works great this way June 29, 2014
Portable spinkler I thought this portable sprinklers would be good idea for my flower beds. But only the last sprinkler on the line of three gets enough water. The first and second one don' putout much water. Poor design. I brought three sets. Returned two because I tried one of them. Wished I had sent back all three. If you don't mind the low water in the first two. I think the idea is good. But I wouldn't recommend it. August 16, 2014
