Porcelian Opening Ornaments We give our family monetary gifts in opening ornaments each year. We try to match up their activities with an ornament that they have been involved in each year. They make a very nice addition to our Christmas Tree until they are removed and then they make for a lovely gift. Quality has gone down-hill I ordered ceramic gift ornaments as I have in the past few years. The quality of the ornaments has gotten worse. Your customer service representatives have been very cordial and responsive in replacing inferior products. However, I do not believe I will order any more of these ornaments in the future. A new Christmas tradition When I saw the ornaments it struck me how most of them reflected something about each person in my family. I purchased 14 of them. On Christmas morning before tearing into packages, I am going to give each member of the family two green velvet bags. They must the open the bags and try to determine whether or not they have the ornament reflecting them or try to match the ornament to another person. Some will be very easy, like the beer mug for my older sister, and some may take some thinking. I hope different ornaments are added every year so this could become a new family tradition. Porcelain Opening Ornaments I bought 14 of these as gifts. 5 of them was the popcorn ornament that I thought I would put movie tickets in and a little popcorn money. Out of the 14, 12 of them were perfect. One of the 5 popcorn ornaments was off sided, meaning the lid did not land on the bottom straight. Also one of the two peppermint ornanments was missing red paint on one of its stripes. But when I called and asked to exchange those two the repres was very accomadating and said she would send me two new ones. Wish they had better quality control before they shipped them. Overall really cute and a fun way to give money or any other small gift. I found the snowman, the ladybug, and the teapot the cutest. November 11, 2012

Better Quality than Expected I bought several of these to put money in for the kids instead of just a money holder card. For $4, I didn't expect too much but ended up pleasantly surprised. They are much bigger, heavier and sturdier than I thought they would be. No, they are not "huge" by any means but large enough for a note, money, jewelry.., anything small. I did feel a little silly when I couldn't figure out how to open them, and think they could change the clasp a little. Otherwise I would recommend them. October 10, 2012

Ornaments Watched these for quite a while and caught them on sale. I put them out on the dining room table and each member of our household chose one to put on the tree. Even catching them on a deep discount and with limited selection, everyone had one they could relate to. I look forward to having these on our tree this Christmas. August 17, 2012

Many choices but be careful These ornaments are ones I use for gifts every Christmas so I was glad to find them on sale. However, one of them would not open when it arrived. However it was quickly replaced by Improvements. They are a joy to deal with. August 2, 2012

Perfect for all occasions! I have a small gift store and thought these would be great "gifters" and I was right. People love them as a gift giving item. You can put nothing in them...add money, a piece of jewelry, candy, a gift certificate, a promise of something to come. Whatever! Many people are buying them to use by their kitchen sink...you can put those precious rings in them without fear of being out in the open or to fall into the sink. One woman is collecting them. The green velvet bag is very nice too. I have had a couple only that has a faulty latch; and a couple that are not painted well. But hopefully Improvements will be adding new additions to this line! Lovely, but extremely small interior These are beautiful as ornaments, but if you plan to put anything much larger than a ring or earrings inside, be forwarned: the interior of most of these are even too small to roll up a few dollar bills. I purchased the crossword puzzle ornament & it was large enough to hold a folded piece of paper without having to fold it numerous times, but the other ones were way too small. December 31, 2011

Not up to my expectations... These adorable porcelain ornaments would have been a perfect gift for all my teenaged relatives except for the numerous problems. The first problem was the packaging. A little red cardinal was broke off the snowman's hat because of poor packaging. More than half the ornaments were extremely hard to open. After paying over a hundred dollars and many of these ornaments for children this was a major disaoppointment. With time running out and unable to return for exchange I was glueing and my husband was loosening the little brackets with a knife. Too much work for the price I paid. December 31, 2011

Fun Personalized Gift Ornaments We ordered several of these for grandkids and family members. They are ideal for enclosing money gifts or personalized note. With the wide selection you can choose one that fits the personality of the recipient and they are nice looking. Everyone enjoyed them immensely.
