No where on the installation instructions did it tell you which part was A, B or C....so, after adhering the three parts on the stairway, we noticed that the B part was on one end of the stairway. It was difficult to swap it out, since we used the adhesive tape. Anyway, we still have to bump the middle part (B) to get it to come on. The A and C parts are super! At least we have a bright light at the top of the stairway and at the bottom; just have to bump the middle part with our foot to get it to work. Still very glad we bought this!

I used these to illuminate a closet with no lights. The motion sensors work much better than other I have tried for the same purpose. There's not much info or directions, but we were able to figure out the 2 with the motion sensor and the 1 without and place them so they worked for our purpose.
I would surely buy these again for their designated purpose or whatever dark are may pop up in the future

I bought these lights to use in my dark hallway at the top of the stairs so you could avoid falling down the stairs or bumping into walls at night. The lights are a nice, bright LED and the hood focuses the light to the floor which lets you see where you are going, but doesn't light things up so much that you wake everyone up.
Installation was easy, just install batteries, attach the back plate to the wall and then put the light unit onto the plate. I used the enclosed double stick tape to attach mine, but it also came with screws. The tape is VERY sticky and holds well, make sure you know exactly where you want them to go before actually sticking to the wall.
The first and last light have motion sensors and come on only when it is dark enough to save the battery. These work exactly as they should. They come on when you walk by and stay on about a minute afterwards. The middle light has sensors on either side and, if placed in the correct proximity, is supposed to turn on when one of the end lights is activated, thereby activating all three. This is problimatic. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. As I mentioned, they are in the hallway, spaced correctly, but the frame of one of the doorways is in between the first and middle unit and I think that interferes with this function.
That being said, the light from the other two is plenty enough to see by and they do not look tacky or out of place in the hallway. Overall I am happy about this purchase and would recommend them just for the two end motion-sensored lights if nothing else.

Only one of the 3 lights worked. What a disappointment! I am returning them and will buy others elsewhere. It's obvious that no one does QC on this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
