Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 654 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by TV at new heights We were looking for a high-quality piece for our master bedroom and this did the trick. It looks great, not cheap, and it rises our flat screen tv to where we wanted it.. It also swivels for easy viewing from anywhere in the room. Great product, great value. October 12, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great storage and beauty I am extremely pleased with the TV/DVD Swivel Stand. It looks good, it provides the needed storage for DVD/DVR and is well made. I would certainly recommend this swivel stand. October 15, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Swivelin' and Organized This product came in handy in my new home. Having moved in with my guy, the space available for personal items is more limited and this item helps keeps things neat an organized, allows for more room for personal items and elevates the TV. We love it. October 24, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Swivel Stand This is a fantastic product, and is just what we were looking for! We had problems with turning on our TV/Satellite receivers in the cabinet. Having them raised sure helped! This solves the problem, and looks good. October 24, 2011

The magazine says 23" 3/4 W x 11" D x 4 1/2" H. The website lists a larger diameter and height. I want to buy, but 6 1/2" is just too high for my TV wall unit. 4.5 in. would be perfect.

Answer:
The one that I have measures 4-1/2 inches tall. It was cat # 504246 and it is oval shaped. The only 6-1/2 inch tall one that I saw was cat # 434338 and it is much longer and wider.

Answer:
I think the 4.5 inch height is correct. I don't have the item here; I bought it for my aunt, but I believe I measured the height to see if it was as described, and it was about 4.5 inches, maybe a little bit taller, but not 6.5. Under 5, I would say.

Answer:
Hi! I was searching for the right piece of furniture for under the unit so have the dimensions already written down:

23 1/2" W x 11 3/4" D x 4 1/2" H

So it is perfect for your wall unit. Hope that helps. :)

Answer:
It will weight-wise if it is a flat screen. Just make sure that the TV's base footprint will fit the stand. The stand is oval shaped and the dimensions are the side-to-side and front-to back values. To be sure, use a piece of paper and mark out an oval shape and see if the TV base will fit on it and be stable. I have a 44" one on it and it just fits.

A 55 inch TV would be much too large for this stand.

Answer:
I am not sure, but a large screen modern thin TV would be held. My guess is that any TV on a stand would be ok weight-wise. Just make sure that the TV stand footprint will fit on the top. The shape is an oval with the dimensions given being the maximum length and width (depth).

inside dimensions

What are the inside dimensions? Is it possible to shave about 1/8 inch off the supports to make the inside dimensions about 1/4 inch wider?

Answer:
I ordered the item and answered my own question. The inside dimension is 17 1/4 inches and yes with a bit of effort you could shave 1/8 of an inch off of that. It would void the warranty. Also, since I needed 20 1/8 inches the unit doesn't work for me and I returned it unmodified.
