Outdoor Step 4.8 5 5 5
Perfect! I have been looking EVERYWHERE for a "step" like this. I don't use it for an entry to a doorway of a house...but I use it as a step for my elderly mother to get into my SUV. I purposely bought a lower carriage SUV to make it easier for her to climb in...but she still needed a little lift. Your product was just the perfect amount of inches for her. Thanks much! Outdoor Step I purchased this step for my Mom because she is 80yrs old and has fallen a lot this year. This step was more than I expected. It is so sturdy, and the height is perfect for her to gradually step down from the door. You can't slip due to its proper make. Excellent quality. I am going to buy some more now that I know how sturdy and slip proof it is. September 6, 2013
Sorry I Didn't Order It Sooner This step has made such a difference in my ability to enter my house from the garage and to negotiate a 6 inch step up into my living room from the family room. It is sturdy, stable, and has a large enough top to allow both feet to rest on it. Instead of intense pain in my hips and knees when I tried to step up, I now feel at most a slight twinge of pain and none most times. I am sorry I didn't order these sooner. A wonderful value for the money. December 28, 2012
Step up (or down) to comfort with no custom installation Both my husband and I have some arthritis in our hips -- not extremely severe thank goodness. We have an 8" step down from our kitchen to our family room. We go back and forth tens of times a day. The step up/down got to be a safety concern since it caused added strain on the hip. I saw tho "step"and thought we could use it indoors to make this transition a much shorter step from kitchen to family room and thereby reduce strain. It works like a charm! We love it. It doesn't detract too much from the decor, it is very secure and stable and the light covering on the step is a great safety feature in dim light plus the textured top are safety and convenience plusses. It is a fraction of the cost of having some carpentry done -- we were thinking about. And it can easily be removed if we have guests, etc. Great idea. Could also be used in the bathroom, closet etc. September 4, 2012

OUTDOOR STEP - STACKABLE?

1. CAN THIS STEP BE STACKED SAFELY TO CREATE AN 8" RAISE INSTEAD OF JUST THE 4"??? THAT IS CAN A 2ND STEP BE PLACED UPON THE FIRST ONE ?

2, CAN THE ABOVE BE LOCKED TOGETHER SIDE BY SIDE TO CREATE A LARGER STEPPING AREA?? SIMILAR TO THE STEPS THAT ARE ILLUSTRATED FOR THE BATH TUB ENTRY SITUATION (bath step #381725; they appear to be locked together on the floor level, with a 2nd step being utilized to access the bathtub).

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP.

Thank you for your question. We do not recommend stacking the Outdoor Step. The Bath Step (381725) is designed to be securely stacked.
