Rated 5 out of 5 by Great if you have messy trees Although I think this product is intended for use for snow and Ice I purchased it to keep the leaves and pollen tassels off the windshields of my minivan and truck. My Live Oak trees drop all their leaves twice a year and clog the windshield wiper wells of the cars. Messy and irritating to have to constantly clean them out during the weeks of the mess. Seems to work perfectly once you figure out how they go on. Can easily blow off or rinse off the leaves and mess with a hose. When I am ready to take one of the cars out I just remove the cover and hang it with the magnets to the side of the other car and off I go. It's waiting to go back in service when I get back home. By the way, one of my cats enjoys sleeping on the bottom of the cover for a quick cat-nap. Truly mulit-functional :) April 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product, works as needed! This windshield snow cover works great and makes snow removal very easy. Easy to install and the product features make for a very functional cover. December 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Thing on the Market I had previously purchased one years ago for one car and loved the ease of removing snow from my windshield while I scrapped the rest of the car. I once had also bought an entire car cover that ended up being frozen to the car and had to be CUT-OFF so will never do that again. This was a purchase for a second car... have yet to use it, but if it works as well as the first one.... I'm a repeat customer. January 6, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Useful and labor-saving The windshield covers worked well in the blizzard named Jonas. After pushing the snow off the vehicles, we did not have to struggle with scraping the glass. January 27, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Stayed in place for over 2 weeks It did keep the snow off very well. The cover was on my parked car for 2 weeks while I flew off on vacation. About a foot of snow fell on the car several days after I left town. So there was ice and snow on the cover when I returned. Windshield was protected but after clearing the snow I found a rip in the cover. I don't know if it was because of the length of time the cover had the snow on it or if the fabric rips easily. This was the first time I used the cover. But I liked the product. Improvements Company is replacing the cover for free and I am willing to try it again because it worked well. It stays put where you place it and protects the wipers which is great. January 8, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by No more waiting for the windshield to thaw! My new house does not have a garage so vehicles left out side. When it snows or sleets, have to go out and scrap or wait for the defrost to melt windshield ice. This cover was easy to install and remove. Not too expensive or complicated. January 29, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by A waste of money Very flimsy material. Difficult to attach if there is any wind. Needs stronger magnets. Not worth the money. December 24, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by oops!!!! We've recently had several small bursts of snow and each time the windshield cover has frozen to the windshield even though several of the snows have been just a light dusting and not a wet heavy snow. January 23, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Ice forms underneath I've used the cover twice. It is light and easy to put onto the car. Unfortunately, both times I used it, ice had formed underneath the cover, looking more like frozen condensation than precipitation. I had to heat the windshield and scrape, which is what I was hoping to avoid. February 12, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Nice if the wind never blew The design of this was pretty good. It could use more magnets especially in the front on the bottom, and the magnets should be way stronger. The fit was pretty good, but this item did not stretch across the bottom of the winddshield. I did buy this for my parents older car, so I took that into consideration. The flaps that are designed to go inside the car doors are a good idea. was a windy day when I installed it, so I struggled to get it in place, going from one side of the car to the other. But I got it eventually. It continued to be stormy the next few days, and the wind lifted all the magnets and the thing was flapping in the wind like a kite when I arrived. The flaps in the car held, but the fabric ripped. November 21, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Windshield snow cover Item is way too light weight. First night I used it, the high winds blew it right away from car. I turned car in opposite direction of wind, and it stayed on the next night. It needs more heavy duty magnets. January 30, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not worth the money I've been looking for a quality windshield protection cover, something made of nylon, and able to withstand the elements. This isn't it. This cover is of a plastic style construction, resembling a cheap shower curtain liner material. I doubt that it will hold-up. It's certainly not worth the investment. January 30, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by The magnets are not strong enough The cover is the perfect size for the windshield. I was surprised that it seemed flimsy, although my husband who I bought it for was happy with it. The first time he used it, it blew off because the magnets are not strong enough. Very disappointing. He's going to retrofit it using duct tape and heavier duty magnets, although we probably could have done this ourselves and saved the cost of the cover. January 4, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not as good as prior product I have had this product in the past from your company. This one is more flimsy, doesn't have the strong magnets all the way around & is not as good a quality as the ones I have gotten in the past. January 2, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by New Windshield Snow cover I purchased windshield covers for my other vehicles a couple of years ago and they work great. Purchased this for a new vehicle and it tore the first 2 inch snowfall. January 27, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Windshield Snow Cover--SUV The windshield cover was a disappointment. The material is very light and does not stand up to wind. The magnets are at risk of damaging paint in windy conditions until there is enough weight to hold it down. Result is that it can't be used if it is snowing and windy. Now add to this I would be charged shipping for my return of a clearly inferior product. I will not order from Improvements again. The order took forever to arrive. Oddly it was shipped UPS, but then entered into the US Postal System at a nearby town and that significantly slowed delivery. Very puzzling that shipping would not be all UPS, but was UPS and USPS February 20, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by CHEAP Not that I was expecting a canvas, but I also was not expecting a paper thin cover.......I guess I should have known better, for the price I got exactly what I paid for.........A dollar does NOT go very far these days. I would have been better off going to the dollar store, and spend a dollar and get the same thing. I absolutely would NOT recommend this product December 4, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't get it...a carpenter bag would work just the same This product is a big disappointment. Improvements sold a different car windshield cover that had their name on it and it was great. I thought I'd be getting the same quality. (I needed to order the SUV sized cover because my car has a large windshield). This particular brand they are selling is awful and ineffective. It's flimsy and while it might keep snow off, it doesn't block out moisture. As a result, I still have to use an ice scraper after I struggle to remove it. When you take the cover off the windshield you are peeling it off of ice that formed underneath the cover on your windshield and car. Having the cover stick like glue is a hassle and it wastes time...just what I want to be saving. I'd expect this icing problem to happen if I had put it on after it had already started snowing/sleeting, but this was put on while my windshield was still dry. This has happened twice and I won't bother using this cover again. Biggest waste of money. Don't bother buying it. I'm not sure why Improvements doesn't sell the original one they made with their logo on it (which I purchased spring 2013). January 30, 2014
