Poor wiring I tried 3 different 9-volt batteries and the unit wouldn't stay on for more than a few seconds with any of them so I'm returning it. December 24, 2011

Bark Control Birdhouse doesn't work for large dogs To my disappointment, this product did not stop or decrease the barking of the neighbor's dog. I hung the birhouse about 3 feet in the air in a direct line of sight to the spot where the dog sits (and constantly barks). I used all 3 settings, from low to high.No change. In retrospect I wonder if the invisible fence collar the dog wears gives him such a strong shock that the noise from the bird house simply isn't a deterrant. The dog is a large labradoodle, perhaps the bird house is more effective on smaller dogs. December 23, 2011

3rd one I have purchased and not good This is the 3rd one I have had. Bought 2, exchanged one. The batteries are very very difficult to put in and the first one I purchased, I had to return as there was no way to get the battery in. Some of the time the product works and most of the time it does not! It is a very good idea and I would be glad to purchase one that really works as we have a neighbor who has a very yappy dog and she does not bring the animal in. Just lets the dog bark! And we live very close together! Someone needs to redesign this product and not make it cost a lot of money. $30.00 is my max on this item! December 22, 2011

I believe it is working! No barking ever since I got it! One of my neighbor's dog looked at it funny and stayed quiet. So much better at midnigt when I'm trying to sleep! December 6, 2011

It works! This product worked very well the first 4 days and nights. However as of lately the dogs have won! I will check the batteries,perhaps leaving it on constantly eats the batteries. December 4, 2011

Really works I have 4 dogs & my next door neighbors have 3. One of my dogs & one of my neighbor dogs seem to hate each other. They snarl at each other and get just hateful at the fence, which is not good practice on how to behave if nothing else. I got this to stop the snarling. I thought the others would run up & down the fence as usual with the occasional happy bark, but it did not work that way. It seems that if they could not bark, nobody wanted to play. Then I saw 7 bored dogs lying around their yards. I keep the device turned off now so they will play. If the two go crazy snarling and just won't stop, I turn it back on the lowest level for a few seconds and the barking stops. If you have a dog that does the aggressive barking or snarling, this will be perfect. If he barks now and then when hey plays, I would not suggest this. November 26, 2011

It worked! Our large young dog was developing a habit of barking at the neighbors walking by which was very annoying. I bought the birdhouse for indoor use. I turned it to the lowest setting and put it by the window.He barked one time and jerked his head around to look at us in disbelief! My husband was astonished it actually works. I set it on a table by the front windows and the most he ever barks is once rather than the incessant barking before. I have not tried it outside yet. November 18, 2011

Outdoor bark control birdhouse I've been looking for a solution to my 1 year old dog's barking...still not sure that this item is working.The area to put the battery in has the smallest screw...afraid I will end up stripping it when I go to replace the 9volt battery!!!Raccoon has already upended it and I had to glue the top back on...taking it in to use indoors...have hopes it will help. Bark Control This product does not do what it said it would. Our dog is not a problem barker so we only wanted it to work for an early morning feeding time. She tends to bark after eating in the morning at 6:00am to come back inside. November 2, 2011

Don't waste your money!. We tried it on all three dogs at the cabin one weekend. Not one even flinched, even on the highest setting. Very disappointing. It doesn't work at all. The light flashes like it is making some secret sound, but mine sure was a dud. October 24, 2011

Terriers don't mind this product. We bought this product to discourage inside and outside barking by our terrier. It's a great idea and we had big hopes. However, he had it figured out within a week. We continue to use it outdoors to discourage our shepherd from barking, so at least it has a purpose! October 24, 2011

This product really works This product really works!!! My bedroom window is next to where our neighbor's three small dogs like to bark through the fence while I try to sleep. I read about your product, purchased it and I put it in a bush near the fence. The dogs don't bark on my side of the house anymore. October 24, 2011

Second one I bought.. didn't work either The first one I bought never came on at all after inserting battery. Returned for replacement. The second one didn't fair much better. Although the light came on after putting the battery in, the light flickered and did not seem to have a good connection. The battery post was not tight against the battery, and the light only came on when I shook it a little to come in contact with battery. It was what I was looking for as far as price and looks, but not performance. October 24, 2011

Product is not working There must be an issue with the wiring because the red light signaling that the product is on does not stay it is intermittent. October 24, 2011

Cheap I'd previously purchased a similar product which was acceptable; however, this is a cheap plastic imitation which did not work and immediately broke. Definitely a waste of money. October 1, 2011
