It Works!! Neighbors dog is a Boston Terrier & barks incessantly. Figured I'd give this a try and was pleasantly surprised. Although the dog doesn't always stop barking, he backs up into his own yard enough that he annoys his owners too! I placed it right on our property line & face it toward them. I plan to buy a couple more and use them in the back yard. May 12, 2013

Emits sound as described This item does everything as described but my dogs don't seem to care. Maybe over time this item will have some effect but not yet. Item seems well made and does a good job emitting the high pitched sound when the dogs bark. Dogs just don't care. May 6, 2013

seems to work inside Inside my house, my dogs barked after putting in a battery....and they looked at the birdhouse, but when I put it out side to STOP the dog next door from barking, when ever us humans or dogs go outside on our deck (my dogs are not allowed to bark outside)....neighbor thinks their little dog barking is "cute"....NOT!.....the birdhouse did not work: : ( April 25, 2013

Seems shody...but WORKS!!!!!!!!! I read many poor reviews so I was skeptical at my purchase and ordered four. I thought one or two might work. When I put the batteries in each one and turned them on the light came on erratically. Each one seemed bad but when the dog barked...Wow...they worked. All of them worked. At 80% off of the other brand, this was a bargain. They may not work with all dogs but mine hate to bark around them. They still bark on runs and playing at the park but not around these birdhouses.
