Lots of light for dark places
Our garage is not attached to the house. We needed a light to shine our way to the house. This lights puts off a great deal of light and was easy to install over the garage door to the outside/ Great deal and is exactly what I needed it to be.

when I'm out at night I don't have to come home to a million bugs at the door. this light lights up a large area and just what I need to get the key in the door.

sensor light worked exactly as stated
We are using the light indoors in our laundry room where our dog has his food and water. We had an overhead light in the room but no electrical plugs so knew we were limited on what would solve our problem. It has worked great to provide enough light on his bowl for the dog to activate it. It also lights up the room if we want to just go in the room to grab something quick so we don't have to turn on a huge overhead florescent. I would highly recommend this light!!

Let there be light
The light works great, much better than earlier models. The instruction were difficult to understand, but I figured it out. The way it attaches to the base needs to be improved.

Motion Sensor Porch Light
Perfect automatic light for spot which doesn't have electricity. Makes for a much safer trip up the stairs for whole family.

Fantastic
I bought 2 of these over 3 years ago - one for the basement, so that I wouldn't have to struggle with the light switch when my hands were full of groceries, coming in from the garage... and one for the basement stairs - same reason. They've worked perfectly and battery life has been good. Now I'm coming back for a 3rd one to actually put on my porch to light the porch and steps when I'm on my way out. That way, I don't have to leave my porch light on the whole time I'm gone.

has its possibilities over time
I bought this for a friend whose electric motion light suddenly quit. It was cold and rainy and I didn't have time to replace the old one. I bought this one on the chance it would get her by for a while since she was really upset about going to work and coming home in the dark and no porch light unless she left one burning all day.( Her electricity company charges outrageous fees.) So far she is real pleased with it but I am wondering about the battery life and how the batteries will hold up in cold weather. It has been on her porch for a little over a week now and she says it is still working. I guess time will tell about the durability and quality of it. So far, so good.

Safety first
I was glad to finally have lighting on the side of my house should anyone or anything approach my house. My 85 yr old Dad attached it to the wood fence and even he liked it as much as he doesn't like a lot of "new fangles".

Loved them
I purchased 2 of these. I plan to purchase 2 more to light up 2 other dark corners of our house and garage. Easy to install and good lighting surface.

Light on the subject
I have been trying to light up an area in front of my shed for some time now. I had a solar powered light there previously which would not work because of the shaded conditions. This battery operated light works great. It was easy to install, and picks up movement from 25 feetaway to shed some light on any subject. Hopefully it will provide safety for us and deter some of the armadillos that have been visiting the garden next to the shed.

Automatic Light on Front Door
This product works as described and was easy to mount (although I had to use a drill to drill a hole for the wall anchor). Seems to be working great. I'll have to see how it stands up over time.

Not in the dark anymore
Purchased this light approximately 6 months ago. Mounted it over the front door and it hasn't failed me yet. Comes on as soon as I step onto the porch. Very bright! No worries now if I forget to leave the light on. Nice looking too and best of all, it does what it's supposed to do!!!

This product does what it is supposed to.
Needed a light for front porch steps. No electrical outlet nearby. Mounted this light on corner of porch. Everyone raves about it. It comes on when you approach porch. Turns off when you leave. You can position it to illuminate any direction you like.
Liked it so much, ordered another one. Replaced light over front door. No longer need to leave light on when we are not home. Have plenty of light when we need it. Very easy to mount & batteries are long lasting. Definitely recommend you purchase one.

great security light
I got my first one for the basement steps when the electricity went out during a storm and I had to get down stairs fast with all my valuables. I live in the country, so I now have them in various places for security and extra light. They say OK for outside use, but they need to be protected from rain. Battery life is good, considering it puts out a lot of light. These are great to shine on your doors when you realize you forgot to leave on the porch light. And, no one is going to sneak up to the door without your knowing it.

Answer:
Have purchased 3 of these. Change batteries two or three times a year. Depends on how often light comes on. One on my front porch, I change about 3 times a year. Takes 4 D size batteries & they are easy to change.Perfect for areas where you want some light but do not want to wire it or leave it on all the time.
