Rated 5 out of 5 by wait for sale Reviews are always so good they let us know the "real facts" This lost 1 star because of the BACK (see pix) I am using it to be part of a 1/2 wall & the back screws on ugg My whole office is Martha Stewart craft tables with a really nice back to them & it matches well like it was part of the set For this plug I should get 50% anything Martha LOL The trash bin is great not like the 1 in their sister catalog Gardin Road This is tall- counter height & fits a tall bin and a drawer for the trash bags. Moves like a nice piece of furniture I used a Rubbermaid gift wrapping bin works great! Please see the pix. June 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Get it with % off This matches my Martha Stewart collection of Craft Tables great It holds a tall gift wrap bin or can Very sturdy , wheels lock also One draw back is the back wish it was not a screw on panel, I need it to show the back & that looks cheap other wise a nice item Easy to put together June 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mobile Trash Hide-a-way Cabinet I really, really like this. Great for hiding trash cans from cats and little grandchildren. Very sturdy (as are most of the products I've purchased from Improvements). Very pleased July 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by classy trashcan I love this trashcan. I have been searching for a trash can that was covered without the plastic trashcan look. This adds a more finished touch to the kitchen. the instructions are not as complete as I would like but it was easy enough to take off and turn around the pieces I put in backward. I recommend adding glue to the 5th wheel that goes under the can itself. And remember to take the lock off on that wheel. My wheel pulled off because the lock was on. Just glued and put new screws in and it works great. August 18, 2015

I prefer the look of this cabinet without the wheels mounted on it. Would eliminating these make the cabinet any less sturdy? Thanks.

Answer:
I don't believe you would be able to open the trash can drawer without having the wheels. There are five wheels on the unit and the fifth wheel glides the drawer open and then adds balance to the cabinet.
The wheels also add the appropriate height to the piece. Without the wheels, you would lose a couple of inches of height. As it is, it aligns with our counter top.
