Good heater for 3 season room I recently had a porch converted to a 3 season room. I wanted a heater that was effective for a 10x12 room This heater is perfect. It keeps the room at a very comfortable 66 degrees in the very cold winter here in the north. It is a great heater to have when you have pets. There is no blower to startle the dogs. I highly recommend this heater. February 2, 2013

Good and Bad I bought this heater for our sunroom two months ago, in spite of it's mixed reviews. The remote didn't work so I had to deal with the manufacturer in California to get a new one. (Minor problem). It does a great job heating up the room and we like the wheels which make it very easy to move around. The thermostat, however, does not go below 59 degrees. Sometimes we would like the option to keep the room a little cooler for all our plants. The unit worked so well that we purchased the exact same one for our son to use in his study. He loved it for two weeks and now it isn't working at all. Improvements customer service is being very considerate in sending us a new one express delivery at no cost to us. We just have to pack up the broken one, and return it. When it's good, it's very, very good but when it's bad, it's horrid. January 26, 2013

Good product This heater replaced a simpler heater and is doing a great job heating an 11 x 16 room with three cold walls. This room did not have balanced heating within the one zone system that we have. Thank you for providing a good product. We are waiting on the electric bill to see if it has been reduced. Best heater EVER! I bought this heater to replace a little old space heater and it was the best decision I ever made! This heater is awesome! It gives off a radiant heat instead of the fan forced air of the space heater. And this heater is absolutley the quietest! We no longer have to crank up the TV volume to hear over the heater! Meets the purpose with beauty The product is a very effective warming device. I use it in my library at home and it warms beautifully and the very thin and compact styling permits me to place in multiple places including the middle of the floor, and it is pretty. So Far So Good We purchased this heater for my mom's room, which tends to be quite cool in the winter. The first night we set it at 68 degrees and Mom woke up in a sweat. After adjusting the settings, it's working great. We especially appreciate how quiet it is. December 1, 2012

This heater is easily moved to wherever you need it. I purchased this heater last year and was immediately impressed with the overall performance and ease of moving it from one room to another. I used it in a master bedroom that stays cool in the winter. It quickly heated the area before bedtime. I love the remote and keep it on the nightstand. I ordered another so I could have it in whatever room I might need to take the chill off. It is light and easy to move. This year I ordered one to give to a friend who can't afford to keep her thermostat up so she has used it to heat the room she needs to be in. Great buy and performs well. November 25, 2012

Very little heat Although this unit looks good it does not produce enough heat. You have o be ithin a foot to feel it. It seemed like more heat was thrown back and up instead of too the front. Can't imagin ho you would mount this on the wall and not cause the paint to peel November 21, 2012

not perfect, but not bad either Well, it is silver-gray and black. Sadly, very few people paint any of their rooms those colors. So, the fact that it is wall mountable is great, but it isn't going to match the room that you've probably spent a lot of money to decorate. All black or all white would have worked just fine for us. So, we aren't going to wall mount it. When I opened it, to assemble it, I found that one of the rollers had broken off. I don't want to have to deal with returns, so I just put the wheel under the stand, and as long as I don't try to roll it anywhere, it is fine. We put ours in our bathroom. I'm not sure if this unit is specifically designed for a larger room, or if the thermostat doesn't work properly. I've got it set to its lowest temperature (59), on low, and it still keeps the room at around 75 degrees. My fiancé/wife loves it. It keeps the tiles warm, and she likes to walk around barefoot. So. We would have preferred color choices, or at least a single solid color. The out of box build quality is sub-par, and it keeps the room too warm. But I still can't give it a bad rating. It does keep the room warm very effectively, and my fiancé/wife loves "how" it keeps the room warm. If the designers read this, please send us an all black or all white version and we'll be happy. 1500 BTU Microthermic Heater Thankyou, we love our Microthermic heaters, we have several, they are great for quick heating of a room and they do not take the oxygen out of the air. We also last year gave one to my sister and she loves it. Anita February 29, 2012

Wall/floor heater. I returned the heater. It is pictured as hanging flat on the wall, but in reality it has to extend about 4 " making it easy to run into. Also, on the casters it is very unstable. It does produce quiet heat. February 21, 2012

The Micathermic Panel Heater I brought 1 each in January, 2012 and liked it so well I brought a second one in Febuary, 2012, now I have 2. What I really like about it is you can set the temp at whatever you're comforable with & it will maintain that level 24/7. Just set it & forget it. It's a quiet clean heat, (no blower). very good portable heater I am thoroughly enjoying this light weight portable heater with remote. It quicly warms the room where I frequently sit and is totally silent! This is a great heater I had been looking for a quiet heater and this is the one. You call all the warmth you need without the fan. It comes with everything you need to mount it on the wall, but I prefer it on the roller canisters. I wish they were still on sale, I'd buy two more! January 20, 2012

Micathermic Panel Heater I was looking for a heater that is safe and will heat up a individual room. The mount to the wall was fast and easy. The heater is great for heating a individual room. However do not crank the heater all the way to Max because it blew a fuse in my son room and now a electrician has to come out cause I don't know a thing about fixing that. The heater still works but his lights and fan in his ceiling fan doesn't. The over all price for purchase is great, and the unit operates great and it a great value for the money. January 20, 2012

Definitely wall mountable!! Contrary to a recent review I read saying this product is not wall mountable - it certainly is! Maybe that reviewer was delivered the wrong item or was getting mixed up with another product! Easy wall mount with all necessary fixtures, and works a treat! Simple controls and a remote that works from a good distance. Kicks out a healthy warmth, heating up our 12 x 12 conservatory nicely. January 15, 2012

NOT wall mountable Bought this because it specifically said it was "wall mountable" - the box CLEARLY states it's for FLOOR USE ONLY. since we don't have a very big house - and not a lot of "space" it was great to see one i thought we could get off of the floor. Works well for area of one room. We bought this heater for my husband's workshop. It work's well in the area where he sets it. Does a good job heating. The only problem is the shop is about the size of two bedrooms and the heater will have to run half a day to heat the entire area. We knew when we purchased it that there was a possibillity it would not be strong enough. So check the size of the area you need it for before you buy. Works well for one room. December 19, 2011

Just The Thing................ Being tired of paying out the wazoo to keep my home at a comfortable temp. I decided to try out your Micathermic Panel Heater. I LOVE IT!!!!
