Low profile works at doors very well. Not as substantial in looks, but my silk and wool rugs did not work. Also, for this price, I can discard if soiled by our dog.

I had a cheap version from a home store on my stairs for a couple of months and hated them. I decided to spend the extra money on these and I am so happy I did. What a difference they make! Look beautiful and help the slippery problem we had before installing. Install was easy with double back carpet tape, but you do need to buy that separately.
I would recommend this to a friend!

These treads are made well. I love the color and the pattern. A plus is that they match my area rugs, which I had purchased in 2010 in a local store, pretty closely. They are also longer, so they cover more of the step area, which is great. I just have to use carpet tape to keep them in place, even though they seem to stay in place pretty well most of the time, since my family members sometimes come down the stairs at a quick pace and I don't want to take a chance that they might slip.
I would recommend this to a friend!
