Malibu Fire Pit 2.7 5 3 3
Less than it seems Although the fire pit appears great on line or in the catalog the actual thing is smaller than it appears and the metal thinner. It looks really nice and easy to transport but I am not sure how long it will hold up to weathering. June 18, 2013
Malibu Fire Pit The picture is somewhat deceiving. It is not as big as I would have liked. I put it on stacked blocks so it works for me. I thought the price was steep for this size. If you are looking for a cute little pit, then this will work. If you want something bigger, then I would skip this pit. June 18, 2013
Not happy with the appearance The picture in the catalog showed stones with a lot of rust and brown shades that made it look like real stone. In reality, they were all gray. Not nearly as pretty as the picture. And the metal bowl doesn't have a hole in it, so I have to keep it in my shed until I'm ready to use it. Other wise, it would just collect rain water and rust. Answer:
Thank you for your question. Our Malibu fire pit is made of the following material: 60% glass reinforced concrete, 35% quartz and 5% fiber glass. It is very durable and can stand up to temperature changes and harsh weather, but is slightly more lightweight.
