Lighted Moose family a poor value We loved the moose, visually. They went together quickly and easily and the stakes held them even in high winds. They were a shiny reddish color, not the furry brown described, so they looked better at night than during the day. The lights didn't clamp to the frames well, but they still looked pretty good. Then the smallest moose quit lighting up two weeks after we put them up. By then, there were no more incandescent mini lights in our area, so we had to replace all his lights with "warm white LEDs'" which were much bigger and less attractive, and make the baby moose look different from the others. By the end of the third week, the big and medium moose were only lighting up in places. I suppose next year we will have to replace all the lights. The moose were also smaller than we thought they would be; we had to place them at a distance so they wouldn't look like mini-moose next to our deer. If the lights had worked as they should, I would have given this set a 5-star despite the smaller size and reddish color during the day, because they are different and look good when un-lit (as well as lit, the first week or so when the lights were working.) As it is, they were way too expensive to only get 2 weeks out of them, and to have them not even make it until our children arrived home for the holidays. January 1, 2013

Beautiful Christmas Addition I was thinking about getting a moose last year to add to my light display. I'm very glad I waited until this year and was able to purchase the family! It is a beautiful addition to my outdoor display, and I have had experience with a lot of these types of decorations...this is a pretty sturdy set by comparison. Thank you for an attractive and lasting product. December 26, 2012
