This product is perfect for use where electrical outlets are unavailable. I wanted to set up my holiday village in an area where electrical outlet was not readily available. The battery operated snow blankets I have are absolutely perfect because now I can set up my village anywhere without cumbersome cords. It is so much more neater and my village looks spectacular as I have placed two battery operated snow blankets side by side for placement of village pieces. January 1, 2013

Not worth the money I received the product and was definitely not impressed from the moment I took it out of the box. For the amount of money, it is of very low quality. After putting the batteries in and having it turned on for about an hour, it has decided it's done apparantly. December 22, 2012

Lighted Snow Pad My wife has "many" small lighted buildings of winter and Christmas design. This pad extenuates displaying the scenery. However, the button switch broke on it's first use. In all fairness, we have not used it all that much so far this season to give a "true" durability and quality opinion. December 11, 2012

Works but has draw backs I guess I should have read the specs better, I did not expect it to be battery operated. I have my village on a timer system and this cannot be done that way. The boxes for the batteries are bigger than I would like and difficult to hide. That being said it looks great when it is all lit up. I have only just started using it so I cannot comment on durability. December 9, 2012

Not what I expected. I was disappointed in this item. More light came from underneath the blanket versus from the top. I wanted to use this under my Christmas Village but it didn't work out. I actually returned the item. November 28, 2012

Very Disappointed Bought this and when I took it out I put in the batteries to try it out. Was a little disappointed that the lights didn't shine thru very well. Put it away until I was ready to use it. When I got it back out and unrolled it to turn it on again, I found the light switch had fallen out and cannot get it to work without the tiny little switch. Completely useless!! For the price I paid, $35 I feel this product is not worth the money and will not ask for a replacement. Just sending it back!! November 24, 2012

Very Disappointed I was very excited when I ordered this however when I finally got it, it didn't work. It claims that it takes 3 AA batteries but the chamber I have was too big and they wouldn't stay in, so I tried C batteries....still didn't work. Sending back hopefully the next one will work. So-so I was a bit disappointed with the quality/appearance of this product. I have a large snow village "scene" that I display every year at Christmas and thought this would be a nice ground cover with the lights included in the snow blankets. The lights are more of a blue-ish white color and are not bright at all. I was expecting brighter lights like those that appear on artificial Christmas trees. I have not set them up completely yet with the snow village, but I'm not expecting a lot of light/presentation or wow factor when I do. October 31, 2012
