Just what I was looking for Every Halloween I set up a Laboratory in my home. I put out all the tools and solutions (including bloody apron) and set a white sheet upon my pool table with a "body" on it. Up until now I have only found an inflatable skeleton-looked cute but I'm going for scary/gory. I was so happy when I saw Improvements selling this John Doe figure. And to my surprise it sits up by itself-this was even more than I had hoped for. What I really love about it is the last breath he draws as he is going back to the lying position-the exhale looks realistic as his white sheet flows back down like it truly is his very last final breath. I do wish that Improvements would sell the footpad and the AC/DC adapter-had to find it somewhere else-just hate wasting the batteries. September 29, 2013
Easy to use Halloween prop The initial size of the box upon receipt was deceptive - it looked too small to be a "full-sized prop", yet once one unfolds the "head" from the feet, it does appear to be the reclining length of the average adult. The cons are the shine/sheen of the white cloth - a basic white canvas or white duck would have been better. Also, the motor noise is a bit loud, but in any haunted display setting, the music should eliminate that issue. The price seems a bit high for what it does. The pros are: it's portable, just pop in batteries & set up anywhere. Also the details on the feet are realistic, such as veins, skin indentations & bone structure. I was able to paint zombie colors w/o losing the realistic features of the feet, making the prop more believable. Mechanically, it works like it states - up & down w/sounds & eyes lighting up red. The simplicity of the movement should ensure many years of scares. Best of all, It is easy to fold up & store after the season. September 17, 2014
