3-Tier Folding Bookcase-27-1/4"W is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 217.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it! I ordered two bookcases to stack, and they look so cool in my den! It's a lovely product, well made, so sleek, bright, and modern in design. It came perfectly packed & the minor assembly was a piece of cake for this 72 yr. old grandmother.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I wanted! These bookcases were exactly what I had been looking for to flank my fireplace in the den. They are open and airy and didn't make the room feel closed in as would solid sided bookcases, The ease of assembly is fantastic, the price is truly affordable and the overall effect has gleaned many compliments! Thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from beautiful bookcases For bookcases that you a. do not have to pay an arm & a leg for at a furniture store and b. practically assemble themselves--these are great! I got the walnut version and it perfectly matches my walnut desk. the only issue is with the mantel piece--it arrives separately and was difficult to attach to the top. If I purchase additional units (which I am seriously considering), I won't buy the mantel. Mine was dinged on one corner as well=as in another review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bookcase top The bookcases are excellent. I ordered the top piece and I have trouble keeping the pegs in all four holes. I took the top bookcase off the bottom to install it and it fit. As soon as I put the bookcase on top of the other one the left side popped out.

Can you tier mantel and non mantel?

Not sure if I need to buy one of each... And if I have option to tier or not with each.
Asked by: PobR
You cannot add a second bookcase when you add a mantel. The mantel completes a unit. There are no pegs on top. I own 4 of these bookcase, 2 with mantel and 2 without. They are terrific.

Are these good for a child's storage?

I am considering purchasing 2 of these in order to store books, toys, bins, etc. Wondering about the sturdiness of the product when potentially used for this purpose -- the kids have a lot of book and small bins. Thanks!
Asked by: Jackie1016
The shelves are very solid and sturdy, and should hold whatever you want to put on them. They have a good solid base and seem unlikely to tip over. However, they are quite shallow -- I think about 11" -- so you should compare their depth with the items you want to put on them before purchasing.

Stability of stacked bookcases

I have a kitchen with 5 doors and 2 windows and because of that there is no space for cabinets. But I have an empty wall where shelves would fit if they are 12" deep or less. I have been looking for a very long time for shelves narrow enough to fit there. These would fit perfectly, but are they sturdy enough to be stacked? I do not have children and I would put heavy items on the bottom shelves and light pots and pants on top. Eventually I may ask a carpenter to fix them to the wall. One of the pictures is a kitchen setup and looks very good.

These are high quality and beautiful...I have a corner one for my kitchen for cookbooks and a plant on top and I have one in my bedroom for books again a corner one...they are beautiful...and have a middle post in the bottom you screw in for stability and also another little screw...the assembly is so simple you just open it up and screw in the bottom little wood piece...love it

Can the corner bookcase be stacked to match the height of two stacked 3-Tier bookcases?

Asked by: organzing
Thank you for your question. The Corner Bookcase is stackable like the other size bookcases in this collection.
