Pendant Light
This light was very easy to install; it looks great and provides good light. The only difficulty I had is that it is on a sloping ceiling and I could not get the canopy cup to cover the old fixture plate completely. It keeps slipping down a bit exposing a crescent of the old plate, but I'm probably the only one who will notice.

Hanging Pendant Light
I am excited to have this light as a replacement to my can light over my sink. This brings light closer to the surface and creates a more intimate space. I have tightened the cord twice and get a snug fit to the ceiling, but then it seems to either loosen or shift and a 1/2" gap is created between the cover plate and the ceiling on one side. Also, despite being hung for a week, now, the cord still has visible kinks in it. Not a big deal for us, since the light is 9' up, but if I had this light over an island, I would find the kinked cord distracting. Also, the globe itself sits at an angle -perhaps I screwed the socket ring in too tightly.

cheap spindle
spindle that holds the cord broke,hanging 12 foot above the ground where nothing touches it ,the spindle just snapped after 9 months. now i must buy whole new set to hang the light with the other three .hope they will correct prblem ,so we will see.

Better than expected
I had purchased instant pendant lights from a big box store. They were ok, a little too contemporary for my kitchen. When I saw these I thought to good to be true for the price. They are GREAT and so easy to install. I have both over my island, perfect! The style is just what I wanted(a little more traditional). They just took some adjusting to get them even, but in 20 minutes DONE!
