Built-in motion sensor detects when you're within 8" in front, then opens the lid, and keeps it open until you walk away. Perfect when cleaning-off dinner-plate scraps! 12-gal.-capacity inner bin holds a standard tall kitchen trash bag (not included), and a retaining ring keeps that bag neatly in place, easily removed when full.
