Rated 5 out of 5 by from Garage Door Seal Would highly recommend. Have had one down for several years and is still like new. Just ordered another for the shed door. Works great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from At My Wit's End Water, snow, rain--all of it seemed to be in my garage. It was dangerous, as well, as I could easily slip on the wet floor while sweeping out the water. I knew the rubber under my garage door was not the problem, but I had no idea how to keep out the water and was resolved to always having the problem. Glancing through the catalog, I saw the Garage Door Threshold and called immediately. The very helpful fellow assured me it would work, and IT DID! Also, the glue that came with it was a product I had used for years, and I knew it worked. This has been a Godsend! To whomever invented this product , and for the Improvements Catalog for selling it, a thousand big thanks. Have it in place over a year now. It has stayed put, and not a drop of water or leaves have come in. Thank you! Thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great idea I really like the look of this product and it has really fixed the problem I have with my garage door. I really like the idea of sending everything to me to install this properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleased with the product and the cost. Should have done this when the house was build. 29 years later we decided to do something about the rain water coming in the garage, after seeing it in your catalog, because our garage door was not level. It seems fine now.

Does the seal work with a automatic garage door opener?

Will this seal work with a garage door opener? We are concerned that it will cause our door to go up once it comes down on it thinking something is in the way of the door. We have an uneven floor so are hoping that this seal will help with filling in the areas that are open and are allowing water and dirt to get into our garage. Just want to make sure it will work with our garage opener before purchasing.

Yes, it does work with an automatic garage door opener. I didn't have any issues with my door. The instructions do state that you may have to adjust the level of your garage door opener.

Will this work for a swing up garage door?

We have a swing-up garage door and not a roll-up door. Will this product work for that application?

Answering my own question - we bought the product and it works perfectly.

is this a cup like piece or flat?

Asked by: Mississippi
Its a strip that comes with glue. You cut to size, and glue on the ground under the garage door. It looks just like the picture. (flat)

what are the dimensions and weight?

I have to have an idea you small you may roll it? I might have to bring it in a suitcase to the location I will need it. We will be travelling by plane. Thanks
Asked by: Mitsygirl
This is very heavy, it weighs quite a lot, so take that into consideration. It will roll up, maybe to about 2' round. Not sure though.

If I only need 15 feet, should I buy the 16 foot seal and can I cut 12 inches off?

Thank you for your question. Yes, 16' would be the best choice to make. This is to re-assure you have enough to cover your area.
