Forever Glides; For Iron (1-1/4") (Qty. 24) 4.4 5 116 116
Really Early The glides look great, were easy to install, work great and make heavy furniture easy to mve around. My only problem is that it is too soon to really comment on durability. The instructions say the bond is secure after 24 hours. It will be interesting to see how they do outside for any length of time. I live in Iowa, so time will tell! August 27, 2014
outdoor furniture slides Exactly what I needed. Easy to install. Do not know about durability yet. August 23, 2014
forever glides They don't last forever, but they are a nice replacement for the outdoor chairs and tables I have. Would recommend them ! August 20, 2014
Forever Guides are just that An excellent product not generally available at Lowes, Home Depot etc. Easily installed and work just as described. Definitely solved a problem of just bare cups at the end of chair legs that marred the deck. August 5, 2014

Answer:
I measured the 1-1/2" glides and it appears the OD of these is about 1-3/8" so my thought is they will work but may be snug.

Answer:
My iron outdoor chair had a metal disk on the bottom of the leg that was about 1.5" inside diameter. The 1.5" glide fit with a bit of room to spare, so I think the 1.5" would work even with the 1 3/8" chair.

Improvements offers only the two sizes 1-1/4" and 1-1/2" from our manufacturer. The size you need is not available.

Answer:
You should go smaller. These are foam stickers that are sticky on both sides. They really just stick to the bottom of the chair. If it is too big, it won't be able to stick.

I'd measure again...I though thes size of the holes are standard.

I have some beakfast chairs that have a foot opening of 1 1/8" inside
the foot. Will your glides (1 1/4") fit inside the foot of my chairs?

Thank you for your question.
The 1-1/4" will be too large for your 1-1/8" opening.

Can these glides be used on carpet?

Hello! I bought a kitchen table set and the chairs are metal. One of the chairs is missing the glide, can I use these on carpet? The ID of my chair is 1.22" and the OD is 1.38". Any suggestions or recommendations? Thanks so much for any help!
Julie
PS - I attached a picture of one of the feet that still has the glide and the one that does not.

Answer:
Thank you for your question.
Yes, the forever glides are made to be used on any realm of surface. The 1-1/4" is the size that you should use - when determining it should be the inside diameter, most likely your chair inside diameter is 1-1/4" not 1.22". They are standard. Also you may have to change all of the glides on the chair as to not have any unevenness between the different legs and glides.
