Folding Shower Seat is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from VERY NICE BATH SEAT, BUT WISH IT WERE HIGHER I have had limited mobility [wrists/hands and knees/ankles/feet] due to Rheumatoid Arthritis and have used a shower seat for years. I like to clean [bleach] the seat after I have showered several times. A negative is we only have a single stationary tub in our basement. Trying to jockey the rigid shower seat in the small tub is not easy for us. So, when I saw that this seat folded up, I knew I had solved my difficulty in cleaning the seat. However, I discovered another problem [at least for me] -- the new seat is 18" high; my present seat is 20 1/2". Therefore, because of my swollen knees, I cannot on my own raise myself from the new seat. My husband said he would help me. So, I guess I'll keep it or possibly give to my sister or daughter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from WIDE shower seat & other uses too. NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED - pull it out of the box and you're ready. COMFORTABLE, slightly contoured seat, textured to avoid slips, but you won't even notice the texture - not like some that feel like glued-on sand. EASY to unfold - don't even have to be a rocket scientist. DEFINITELY a pleasure to feel safe in a slippery tub -- even if you do have those little sticky cut-outs pasted down.

Need to know the 'weight' of this shower seat

Asked by: smarty
It's pretty lightweight yet sturdy (maybe 1.5-2 #)? You can see in the larger picture that the seat has a little back on it that forms a carrying handle when closed. Very handy--

Would this fit in tub with bottom that has only 15" of flatness ?

Asked by: reallyannoyed
Thank you for your question. It will not be steady. May I suggest the Swivel Shower Stool (#394229) that has adjustable feet to help provide stability on uneven tubs or showers?
