Fireplace Vacuum Attachment 3.5 5 2 2
It's just okay. I bought this from Improvements last year. It worked adequately for about half the season. It tends to clog easily if you vacuum anything other than fine ash. Then I needed to replace the Hepa filter and the cloth filter. Very few sites carry them and the cost is quite high. Including shipping, the filters are about 60% of the price I paid for the attachment itself. I've gone back to the broom and shovel. December 15, 2013
Such a find! Because I wanted a way to clean ashes from my fireplace at a lower price than the usual shop vacuums, I was pleased to find this item in your catalog. Not only does it work both easily and exacty the way you promised, but I have found other uses for it! I needed a railing so I was safer descending wood steps leading to my patio, and the "fence man" removed some boards so he knew how to brace it. Spiders and leaves were below those boards - he used this vacuum to clean everything up, then emptied the "bucket" out by the back fence. I had to laugh about using it this way - who knows where I'll find another unusual use for it before I actually need to clean the fireplace this winter! October 24, 2011
