Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love these things!!!! Bought some of these several years ago and they've held up well in our California climate. Was pleased to see them available again so ordered three sets. The newer version looks more realistic and seems sturdier. So very pleased that they arrived well packed and intact. The first ones I ordered years ago suffered some damage in shipment. The interesting thing about these faux rocks is that the raccoon family that likes to dig in my yard thinks these are real deal rocks and they avoid the planted areas where I've placed the faux rocks. They could pull them up with little or no effort but they don't even try. The ground stakes the faux rocks come with are somewhat annoying to try and attach. They don't go in like they should (in my opinion) but eventually enough of a stake goes in to secure the rocks to the ground. Don't place the rocks where people might step on them (kids) or lawnmowers might whack them. With that said I'm now going to order some more! April 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic idea I just had to write this review. I have a back problem and cannot haul or place stones. When I saw these I thought "really?". So I bought one set to try them. They are better than great! There are 14 stones that really go more than 10 feet out. The spikes attached pretty easily. I used a little liquid dish soap in the hole or on the thread of the spike which helped it attach. You only have to get about 3 threads attached to get it secure, not the whole spike. I am right handed; held spike in rt hand with plier and turned stone in left. Spike went in all the time. I then ordered 2 more sets and I am delighted with my garden edging!!! I looked all over for these and everyplace thought I was nuts when I described what I wanted. So I ordered from the catalog. Shipping was like 2 days --unbelievable. April 27, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by So glad I purchased these I had a border in my yard and it was mini logs and they were always falling over and had to be re-secured constantly. I kept looking for something that would be maintenance free but would look nice. I thought these were spendy when I saw them online BUT when I got them I realized I would spend that much for a cheap plastic looking border. These look like real rocks and very nice. I got the grey and they look like real rocks. so easy to install and now I can stop messing with that corner. I have big trees and every fall I have to rake that area out and now it will be so easy not having to deal with a cheap border. May 13, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Curb Appeal Very attractive. We get a lot of complements. The rocks look real. A few spikes took longer to thread and screw in rock. Managed to drop one on cement and it broke in two pieces but was able to glue them back together. June 3, 2016

A few years back, I purchased this 'faux stone landscape edging' product (two boxes) from Grandinroad under the item "light stone edging." They have held up pretty well, but a large truck crushed a swath of them last fall. So, I am trying to get some matching replacements. Grandinroad no longer carries the product. But here is the issue: If I look at your pictures, I cannot tell if I should be ordering light gray or dark gray. The 'rocks' I have seem somewhere 'in between,' at least as I judge the pictures. So, first, do you happen to know what shade of gray was distributed by Grandinroad (this would be the answer to my question)? Of, if not, could I email you a picture of my current 'rocks,' and see if you can judge them to be 'light or dark'? I realize that this is relatively silly, but I am trying to avoid the possibility of a return process. Thanks very much!

Answer:
I'd say more of a dark gray but these newer ones look more like real rock with little dark pits and some color variation. I'd think they would blend in very well with the older version/color.

I'm interested in the light grey color. I think the picture you show for light grey is actually the brown color? How should I order to get the light grey & not the brown?

Thank you for your question.

The Light Grey and the Brown are mislabeled. This will soon be corrected. I apologize for the confusion.

If you cannot use a weedwacker, what do you suggest to keep the grass around the stones trimmed?

has this problem been resolved? Please answer ASAP because I've been waiting a long time to buy them. And there's a sale going on until 9/16/16. Also, I have a lawn man who mows and edges-will the rocks break if he touches them?
Thank you.
