Faux Ivy Privacy Screen-58"H x 9'9"W 4 5 133 133
Ideal for six foot pop up netting I have some plants - loved by local rabbits - so put the 4 by 4 by six foot high pop up netting over my trellis and these plants but needed some inner support for times of wind and strong rain or else it would begin to fold in on itself. This post with the strong stake is just ideal for that added stability. August 14, 2012
Privacy Screen pole-set of 4 Didn't think I would need the privacy screen pole-set, so I didn't order them with the privacy screen. Big mistake, privacy screen wasn't secure enough without them, finally order them and they work great, they anchor the privacy screen the way it should be anchored. Great value for the money. Looks nice The only problem =besides the price=; there isn't a place to hook the fence onto, which causes the fence to sag somewhat and the reason that I gave it only four stars for performance. I drilled a small hole near the top and I used florist wire to attach the fence to the pole, which gives it a nicer look. Only, if one is to do likewise, it would be much easier to do it with the pole laying down=also, it would be safer=. The poles are light and very easy to handle, but, I am wondering if it would be better to use a normal fencing pole, which would eliminate the need of using the ground stakes, that are very expensive and poorly made and of which, I really mangled one and I don't have too much strength to even cause this damage. I like the round top which not only looks good, but it is safe in case someone grabs the top of the pole. +JMJ+ April 23, 2013
They really secure the plastic fence This stake really is required .... it's worth adding it to the order with the screens June 19, 2013

Answer:
Yes if you drill in some hooks to fasten the screen to. I used cable ties (zip ties) to fasten the product to a railing.

Answer:
Yes, it will effectively fool the eye on that type of application. It is like a camouflage net. You will see the brick behind, but mostly your eye will focus on the leaves. But if you hold it up in the air, you can see through it easy enough.

Thank you for your question.
This can be attached to brick if you use the correct hardware. The screen will camouflage the brick in the same manner it does on a fence or other structure.

Improvements recommends that the fencing not be cut. All of the foliage is weaved and attached throughout the roll. As far as how many poles you should use depends on what size roll you will be purchasing and where you are installing it. Each sized pole (4' and 5') come in a set of 4 which would generally be sufficient for all the fence height sizes Improvements sells. That would allow approximately 2-1/2' between each pole. We recommend also using item # 423437, Metal Ground Stake for added stability of the poles during installation.

Improvements sells the double sided leaves screens in two different sizes, item # 414734 and #414726. The leaves are weaved continiously on the mesh screening it is attached to; if cut it will unravel and the product will not hold up as intended from its original design.

Will the sun's UV rays damage the foliage? How long is the color fastness for this product? Is there a guarantee for color fastness? Normally your guarantee is only good for 90 days?

The fabric leaves as with any outdoor material will fade if left in direct sunlight and inclement weather over a duration of time. Under the standard testing completed there proved to be no damage to the fabric under the required ASTM tested hours where the rating scored high. There is not a guarantee for colorfastness, however the product had been tested at 1000 hours again with a high scale score under the requirements for ASTM tested hours. Improvements has been selling this item for over 3 years in our assortment line.

How to use for an 8 foot fence?

Hi,
I have an 8-foot wooden fence around my yard (also behind the pool); looking out from the pool at it, it looks ugly, and I had hoped to cover that section of the fence with your greenery. But I do not see an 8 foot height. Is that available, or is there some way to use it sideways (two four-foot-wide sections turned sideways for example) to attach it to this section of fence? Thanks,
Anne

Unfortunately Improvements does not carry a 4' section either. You could try to work with the 3' height sections we carry this would be your only option, however not a perfect fit. Improvements recommends that the screen should not be cut.
