Extra Wide Rubber Scroll Stair Tread 48"-Set of 3 4.6 5 49 49
Good product Pros: Very attractive. Extra wide so they fit across a step well. Look like robust material that will last. Con's: They move on the step easily to do not stay where you put them. January 30, 2013
Wide rubber stair treads are great in the snow and ice. I recently moved into a 186yr. old pre-victorian brick house and was looking for a wide stair tread for our front porch. These met the requirements! Not only are they wide enough to cover the steps , but the are very durable and attractive . They coordinate well with our porch and still give the house the vintage feel we were looking for, 2 thumbs up!! Thanks! Michele January 30, 2013
Attractive and functional Bought three sets of these to add traction to my wood porch stairs. They're heavy enough to stay in place during a windstorm, plus they have a nubby texture on the back which keeps them from sliding around even when covered with snow and ice. They also look good. Wish there was a matching doormat. February 7, 2013
So much better than pictured I have had 2 sets of smaller, less expensive treads that always slipped around on my 53" cement stairs. I always hoped to find something heavy enough to not move. Well, these are perfect!!!! They are long enough to look like they are part of the stair and they are thick rubber, like the heavy rubber, cushy, door mats made of rubber. They look like wrought iron! I am so pleased! I bought 8 of these and they have transformed the front of my Victorian house! February 21, 2013

Set of 4?

The description says you can buy a set of 4 in 48 inches long however it does not allow you to add a set of 4 to the cart - only a set of 3. So, are you selling a set of 3 or a set of 4 in 48 inches long?

Answer:
Thank you for your question.
Improvements found a copy error in the body of the product overview on the product page and it was corrected. These treads come in a set of 3 not a set of 4 or there is the option to purchase individually.

How do you fasten these to painted steps?

I have painted wooden steps on my porch that need some traction in wet/snowy weather. You mention that painted steps require additional fasteners, but what exactly do you recommend? Thanks
