Extra Wide Rubber Scroll Stair Tread 48"-Set of 3 4.6 5 46 46
Good product Pros: Very attractive. Extra wide so they fit across a step well. Look like robust material that will last. Con's: They move on the step easily to do not stay where you put them. January 30, 2013
Stair Treads We have 5 concrete steps leaving our condo. They are white and at times appear "invisible". I ordered 1 tread to see if it would help and it did. I have ordered 4 more that are due to arrive tomorrow. They also appear to prevent the steps from being slippery when it rains. February 21, 2013
What a great product! Just like the product photo we have 5 foot wide brick steps at the front of our house. We have been making changes to add "safety" and livability features to our house. The front brick steps have been a safety issue because it is difficult to see the risers--the same brick is everywhere so distinguishing the edge of the step is difficult. The solution we decided to try is the extra wide rubber scroll stair treads. They have made each step much more visible, so we now can easily see where the edge of each step is. AND, they are really attractive! The brick steps are nice (6 of them), but not too interesting. These attractive treads are really good looking without being flashy. The 4 foot width was a requirement since people go up and down at the handrails, and the shorter treads in the center don't give the visual advantage we and our guests need for maximum safety. This treads are lightweight, but durable, and heavy enough to stay put on the brick steps. I could not be more pleased with the purchase and the product. April 9, 2013
Decorative and greatly improved safety on stairs I couldn't be more pleased. The treads look lovely with my italian terra cotta pots on the front steps, and I feel delighted in the effects as well as much safer myself and more confident of the safety of visitors to our home with them in place. I may get another set to finish the back steps as well. April 17, 2013

Set of 4?

The description says you can buy a set of 4 in 48 inches long however it does not allow you to add a set of 4 to the cart - only a set of 3. So, are you selling a set of 3 or a set of 4 in 48 inches long?

Answer:
Thank you for your question.
Improvements found a copy error in the body of the product overview on the product page and it was corrected. These treads come in a set of 3 not a set of 4 or there is the option to purchase individually.

How do you fasten these to painted steps?

I have painted wooden steps on my porch that need some traction in wet/snowy weather. You mention that painted steps require additional fasteners, but what exactly do you recommend? Thanks
