Expanding Tray Table 4.3 5 152 152
AWESOME! After moving to a new apt, these expanding tray tables were the perfect fit for my place. Not only do they work for eating in front of the TV, I'm able to place two of them end to end for an enlarged sewing table. When opened, they are the perfect size for a laptop work area. I love the appearance/finish and the quality seems great. June 3, 2014
This table does its job This is a fine work-on-laptop-while-sitting-on-couch table. It's not fancy, but it is reasonably well made and does its job. The fold-out leaves provide ample space for my laptop, paperwork and a cup of coffee. I have no major issues with the table, except that it is slightly too high for my typing comfort. If the legs were an inch shorter, it would be perfect. May 27, 2014
Just as Described High quality materials, including the wood tops. Surprised by the very nice hinges that connect the 2 extra panels of wood. Looks great in all of the positions available.(that is, both panels closed, one open, etc.). May 25, 2014
Not quite right The fold out leaves of the table are not level with the center; the staves that hold them up need to be a little thicker to prop the leaves up level with the center of the table. May 22, 2014

They are rounded, flat on bottom, metal. It sits on carpet, and it is very light weight. If I were to put in on hardwood or tile, I believe I would add some "felt" feet.

Answer:
The top of the tray has two parts that are hinged together so it can be opened to create more surface space. One picture shows the two sides folded in for small table. The other shows the table once it is fully opened.

Height of base

What is the height of the base (foot) of this table? In the picture it looks to be about an inch? I need the exact measurement because I have a sofa very low to the ground, I want to make sure I can slide it under the couch when not in use.

Stand Style?

I am interest in the the darker wood expanding tray table. However, I think the stand on the lighter color wood expanding table looks more sturdy. Are the stands different depending on what color table table top you select?
