Expanding Tray Table 4.3 5 142 142
Well built and easy to assemble. Assembled this table in 15 minutes. Well built and good quality materials. April 14, 2014
Great table and unique This is a very sturdy great table. Love the fact the it opens to give more room and folds back when done to look nicer. Color in picture is true to the finish. Wish there were more options with a darker finish though. Is very sturdy to hold heavy items and great for hot items also. Suggestion: Would be nice if it had small rollers that lock (so it doesn't move while eating), instead if having to lift it to move it when not in use. Overall great table and unique with the folding option. April 12, 2014
Disappointing While the overall function of this table is all right, the wood looks a little cheap. Particularly unattractive is the pull out portion that supports the top when in the open position. It is an entirely different wood and color and really stands out. It is completely visible when the top is closed (the photo in the catalog does a good job of hiding this). Pretty much ruins the appearance of the table for me. Also, when both leaves are open they sag a little. I don't think it would support much weight. Wish I had just bough a solid top table. April 11, 2014
Perfect for us A couple times a week we like to have dinner while catching up with our favorite shows. We had some old tray tables that were wobbly and partially broken...an accident waiting to happen. We had to take them down and put them back up every time we used them. I saw these tables in a catalog and decided to order them. My husband had no problem putting them together and I love that they can slide under the ends of the couch when not in use. We primary use them to eat meals but have also used them as laptop/tablet stands to do work on. The look is high quality wood and they are sturdy. When the leaves are extended there is a slight dip - probably could have used another extension on each side but as long as you aren't putting something really heavy or unstable on it, I don't see a problem. We love ours and just bought another set for our married children to use for the smae purposes because they love ours! April 9, 2014

They are rounded, flat on bottom, metal. It sits on carpet, and it is very light weight. If I were to put in on hardwood or tile, I believe I would add some "felt" feet.

Answer:
The top of the tray has two parts that are hinged together so it can be opened to create more surface space. One picture shows the two sides folded in for small table. The other shows the table once it is fully opened.

Height of base

What is the height of the base (foot) of this table? In the picture it looks to be about an inch? I need the exact measurement because I have a sofa very low to the ground, I want to make sure I can slide it under the couch when not in use.

Stand Style?

I am interest in the the darker wood expanding tray table. However, I think the stand on the lighter color wood expanding table looks more sturdy. Are the stands different depending on what color table table top you select?
