Eucalyptus Double Chaise Lounge 3.1 5 12 12
arrived in pieces Not that I didn't expect to have to do some assembly myself but.....our chaise came in multiple pieces with parts broken off, parts broken in 2 pieces, and pieces split down the middle after being screwed together. I assumed the packaging material would be able to withstand the trip via UPS but then questioned if the material used for the chaise is quality? Would I be able to use the chaise year-after-year and withstand kids? Elements? Did not choose to reorder when I returned the chaise for a refund because I really liked the style, color and ease of use also. June 11, 2014
Serious manufacturing issues When I received this product the packing box was in fine shape; all of the issues I encountered were only found once I opened the box. Here are the serious defects: 1. One of the back-support arms was not attached at all; the loose components and 75% of the screws necessary for attachment were there. 2. Sliding tray table: one of the sliding trays had a serious defect in the finish caused by a dowel being pushed through too far, causing a 2" section of wood on the other side to break off 3. Frame stability: the center portion of the frame which runs the length of the product was produced in such a manner as to not guarantee it's structural stability (i.e. it was twisted) Unfortunately the way the product assembles, you must put one part in-between these two twisted parts in a sort of sandwich and then put a hex-bolt and nut through all to secure. 4. Part quality: some of the hex bolts were of such poor quality, that the heads had merely an impression of a hex; this made them nearly impossible to tighten with the allen wrench provided. Since I am an engineer, I can figure out ways to work around and overcome a lot of challenges, I don't know that your other customers would be as willing to problem solve as I am. September 12, 2013
Nice idea but low quality The tools provided to put this item together were thoroughly useless. There is NO WAY I could have put this together without a hex Ratchet. Some of the holes for the screws did not line up properly and on one side the screw broke thru and is sticking out of the side of the lounger. (see attached photo) I liked the idea of this product but honestly I am not very hopeful that it will last all very long. July 25, 2013
Good for the price Shipping was slightly delayed, but not too excessive. I was able to put it together by myself. However, the screws provided for attaching the seats (centers that do not incline) were too long...they would have poked through the wooden slats -- either to rip and snag the cushions or your rear end! I had shorter ones I used. Hard to evaluate the "performance/durability" since I've only had it a week or two. So far it's been fine. Looks great and I've been enjoying it lots! July 24, 2013

I am looking at getting the 2 double chaise loungers and two single however in the picture the wood on the double appears dark and the singles look a lighter redder wood. I would need the woods to match?
Can you give me any info on this. Thank you Pam

1 Person needs an answerI have this question too

Thank you for your question.
Both the Improvements single and double chaise loungers have the same wood. They are both made of Eucalyptus wood and the finish is an espresso stain. There may be varying degrees of saturation of the stain due to the natural wood grain, however these have the same wood and the same stain. Improvements customers have purchased these two items together. Thank you.
