Dryer Vent Seal 4.5 5 4 4
good product, good idea Good product, easy to install. Only drawback is the large size of the unit. It could be somewhat smaller, however, it works great. August 21, 2014
Best Dryer Vent I purchased this vent to be sure the "critters" stayed out of my dryer vent line. When not in use the top seals off the otherwise open vent line. I'd recommend this for everyone. March 7, 2014
Dryer Vent Seal Review This is the 3rd unit i have purchased with the 2 previous each lasting about 10 years. This is a well designed product in that the air flow is controlled (no back drafts and no cheap grill openings that allow cold air to enter through the dryer hose when not in use). The only issue i have had is the lids crack causing me to replace the entire unit. February 26, 2014
stays put I have been so frustrated for years with the builders idea of a dryer vent area outside. it just didn't want to stay on and half of the time it would just be laying on the ground and then I would have this hole coming into my house. when I saw this idea for the dryer vent I was excited to say the least. I purchased it and my husband installed it and it's great. no more falling off or holes. easy to install and solved this issue for me. November 12, 2013

My dryer vent is very near my AC condenser and the excess lint that makes in through the vent line is blowing outside on to the condenser. i am looking for something to collect the lint outside my house at the wall.

I live in Canada where the temperature drops below freezing for most of the calendar year. I'm concerned the moist warm air venting from the dryer will freeze the shuttle in either the closed, or open position. Does the dryver vent work in these conditions? Is there any concern that the vent will freeze and stop working?
