Drop-Down Instant Bug Screen (36" x 80")

Great to keep insects out
This screen was the thrid on I purchased to keep between my house and doorway into the garage. The first on was exactly like this one and lasted a very long time (over 10 years) until it was just worn out. I purcahsed another style, two screens that over lapped in the middle and were held at the sides by velcro to the door frame, thinking it would be better. I HATED that screen and finally took it down as never worked out for me on any level. I ordered this one and am very pleased that it works just the way the first one did. It's a bit lighter in construction than my original one, but it was on sale and I'm very happy to have one back in place to keep insects out of my house.

Attachment alternative
The Velcro works pretty good but the top comes loose at times. I placed a placed a 1/4" x 1' x 30" board over the Velcro on the top with minimal 1/2" screws #3#
Been using for a couple of years and fined them to be very durable

bug screen
The cost was fare. And the material for the product was good quality. It not easy to hang it’s awkward. I don’t think I would purchase it again.

Great value!
This is a great buy! It's easy to set up and works great. Would wish for an extra velcro strap or two to secure the side to the door frame, but otherwise very pleased!

I recently bought a 32" drop-down bug screen, it only measures 31 1/2" and does not keep the bugs out. I am reluctant to replace it with a 36" screen

I say get the long one, I do not think that you will regret it. Mine came a bit long and it was a breeze to sew up to the correct length and it did not hurt the screen a bit. I do not have a heavy duty sewing machine by the way. I like the screen well enough that I would even consider taking it to the local dry cleaners to put in a seam and make it shorter. (I took in a patio chair cushion and they sewed a seam that had torn charging only $6)8 months ago
Answer:
This product will not fit tight enough to seal out the bugs. You would need a full velcro closure for that. You will still have the gaps between the velcro strips on the sides WO the full velcro. I use mine during the day but not at night due to the light attracting the bugs.Age: 55-65

Thank you for your comment. From what the manufacturer states is that the 32" width is suppose to fit door widths ranging from 31"-33". The 36" width is suppose to fit widths ranging from 35"- 37". There is no other size in between these to sizes that Improvements carries and custom widths ar not available.
