We have had a number of break-ins in and around our neighborhood and having this security bar helps me breath a little easier.

I have had this product for serveral years and am now purchasing another for another door. This does a great job and I feel very secure when it is in place. I cannot open any door where this is jammed against.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I recently had my front door kicked in by a stranger so I thought this product would often some protection.. It does not appear to work well. I ordered 2 of them for both front and back doors. One of them did not fit well under one of my door knobs. The plastic foot comes off easily and when the door is pushed the bar slides on the floor. I tried placing the bar closer to the door than the picture shows but it still feels like someone could force the door open. I had one on carpet and the other one on a concrete floor. Also, I wasn't using a lot of force because I didn't want to damage my door. Burglars wouldn't be that careful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My recently widowed neighbor was uneasy at night and unable to sleep. I ordered these and gave them to her. Now she is able to sleep through the night with no worries, as she feels secure. Thanks for a great product!
