Got this DeerGard to actually repel dogs from doing their business on my lawn. It claims to repel dogs and cats at the appropriate setting. Problem with the thing is the frequency constantly changes. When I go outside I can actually hear the thing pretty well. When I play with the frequency knob the sound immediately returns back the it's proper high frequency, but when i leave it for awhile and come back outside, it's returned to an audible frequency that everyone can hear (and doesn't do anything to repel dogs). Still finding dog droppings all over my lawn and at very close distances to the DeerGard. I've always been impressed with Improvementcatalog's quality of products, but this one was a great disappointment. For the price, they should provide a higher quality product. I would not recommend purchasing.
