Decorative Window Film is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 204.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved a ton of Money ! Originally I was going to cover the side panels of my front door with a sheer fabric to let in some light. The estimate I received was over $200. Instead, I purchased and installed this decorative window film, very easy to install by the way, and the panels look beautiful! They provide privacy and still let in light - bingo! Exactly what I was looking for and 10 times cheaper than a sheer fabric would have been.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfectly Private I was looking for something to cover my in-shower window in my 1940s home. I didn't like the curtain over the window because it always got in the way when I was taking a shower. So I purchased the "dots" design of this product and I just put it up. I would highly recommend cutting this with a box cutter by holding the film against the window(I did it alone, but it would have been much easier if I had one other person to help hold it up while I cut.) When I measured the film and the window and cut it on a table with scissors, it turned out a few centimeters short on each side. I liked the look so much that I then used it to cover a window in my dinning room and the small windows in my door. It is perfect! You can't see anything but shapes through the window and it lets in a lot of natural light! I would for sure recommend it. Since I just put it up, I can't speak on it's durability, but an hour later, it is still on the windows and looks great! TIP: If you do not have a squeegee at home, use a credit card! It worked great for me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PRACTICAL AND EASY TO INSTALL If you need to create privacy but make it temporary this is your product. Made in Germany this product does what it says. I used it in the Northeast and it stays on through cold and hot weather. Easy to use just need water and a sponge. Removes easily and leaves no imprint. Only drawback if you get splinter design and stain it with make-up or lotion it does not clean easily because of grooves. But it's cheaper than buying a textured window and not permanent so next owners can remove it if they don't want it.

How to order

My windows are" 39w x 49h" and 42W x 41H" There are mullins inside my double pained windows. I might be able to piece together. Any suggestions? mz
Asked by: Marmoo
You can put the film on practically any way you want. So say if you start to unroll the window can measure your windows with it side to side or up and down. Just make sure you get enough....cause depending on your windows depends on how much you will need.

Which film can you not see out of at all?

Which film can you not see out of at all? I am looking to use it to block my dogs vision from looking outside and barking at joggers and the mailman

Thank you for your question. All of the films have the same degree of light filtering.

Is there anything you suggest to reactive the self cling?

I purchased several rolls (splinter design) about a year ago and they fell off my windows several times. I would reapply them (per the directions) and they would be okay for another month or two. They have now lost all adhesion and I'm using scotch tape to hold them to the windows.
Asked by: xspita
Thank you for your question. Since this is static cling film, there is no adhesive used. Make sure the window and the film are free of dirt. Spray cold water with a few drops of liquid soap. Position the window film . Squeeze out the water, working from the center. Wipe dry.

How easy is it to remove and does it leave any residue on the glass?

Asked by: Jasu
Thank you for your question. There is no residue. It is more like a plastic sticking to the window. Like the kids peel and stick window art.
