Deck Chair with Headrest 4 5 14 14
How low can you go The chair sling is way too low for the chair. I'm 5'6" and had great difficulty getting out of it. One of my friends couldn't get out at all and needed me to pull her out. I replaced the dowels with much thicker ones which helps keep the sling a little tighter but it's still very hard getting out of the chair. And because it's so low, the arm rests are useless. It's too bad because it looks nice. September 13, 2013
Poor Paint Finish Excellent product, but many areas NOT painted properly and other areas are not painted at all !!!!!!!!! September 12, 2013
Was Not Happy I ordered the side table that folds away. The finish matched the chairs I ordered but the wood was chipped away in obvious places and made the table look sloppy and cheap. When the table closes it does not close flush to itself right out of the box. If I was in a store I simply would not have purchased the item. In addition I have issues with the rocking chairs I had originally purchased. This will be the last item I will order from Improvements Catalog. I'm done. September 3, 2013
This chair is very comfortable We wanted a lightweight chair that would be comfortable to nap in on an upper deck of our house. It does that perfectly! The only negative I would say is that it is a little hard to get out of as it sits fairly low. May not be a good choice for an older person but no problem for us August 29, 2013
Comfortable The chair fits nicely to my body. The material is a strong canvas. The wood frame is thick and oiled to resist water and weather discoloration. I would have preferred the notches behind the head rest to adjust to a higher sitting up position as its not comfortable for reading. July 11, 2013
Folding table Great product. Haven't had it long enough to comment on durability but so far so good. Love the folding aspect and it's a nice looking table for the price. June 26, 2013
Sturdy product, easy to set up I had a tired out set of deck chairs from a hotel that was demolished 10 years ago. These will replace them perfectly. My only complaint was that one of the pieces of wood had the identifying numbers face up, but I won't send the chair back just for that. The numbers will probably fade with time. Very comfortable and solidly built. Fabric is pretty too. June 5, 2013
Ottomans I bought six of the ottomans to be footrests and extra seating on our back deck. It was very easy to put the cover on the frame (although I had my doubts the instructions would work, they did!). They're perfect footrests for our chairs, and are sturdy enough to act as extra seating. There are some blemishes on the finish of the legs, but they're pretty minor. Overall, a very good value! This is just the best side table for my outdoor lounge chair, beautiful!! If you are looking for a beautiful, sturdy, easy to fold and store away table, this is it. It matches my dark bronze lounge chair so beautifully. It sets up in seconds and folds away in seconds. The surface can be easily updated with lovely antique oiling each season although from its appearance, it will not need an update for a long time, it is nicely finished. This is a very solid table and very much worth the price. The fold-away nature is a bonus! Love it! By the way, I looked all over the place for a table like this, I mean, searched high and low and sent two back that were just not the quality and color I was looking for. This table met every standard. May 25, 2013
Not bad for the price Ordered two of these tables to go beside our porch lounge chairs. The material and finish of these tables is close to our lounge chairs - so is a good match for them. The tables were relatively easy to stand upright - no assembly needed, but unfolding them was a bit of a Chinese puzzle - mostly because I'm too lazy to read the instructions. Just took a minute to get them up after I figured out the "unfold." Tables a good size. Happy I bought them. May 25, 2013
