The strip that covers the center does not stay in place as it is supposed to, the strap around the outside does not secure the center and the strip does not give the bed a seamless feel either, it needs a piece that goes down between the matteresses,

Nice product, HOWEVER, there needs to be a way to tighten the center strip that covers the crack between the 2 beds. Perhaps an additional strap to go under the crack and be tightened would solve the problem. It definitely helps hold the 2 mattresses together but the center strip slides around. We have older mattresses that are not as thick as those made today.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this for our vacation rental to offer guests the ability to have one king instead of two twin beds. It works as advertised & makes the king bed a fairly easy option. One thing to be sure of though is that the extra belt length is on the outside after you put it on the bed. Ours came with the extra on the inside which allowed the whole thing to loosen up after pulling taut on our first use. If this happens to you, just re-pull through the end opposite the buckle to correct. Works perfect!
I would recommend this to a friend!
