These stair covers work wonderfully, are stable and keep you from sliding/slipping on those narrow steps; Ours are installed in an RV with very shallow stairs that should have never been covered with carpet, so the covers serve two purposes; safety and keeping the carpet clean.
It would be great if they came in two widths, one narrower-about 18" for those of us who have a second level of steps on the interior such as a 5th wheel RV. Clear color is great; goes with any decor.
The catalog picture is deceptive; These are SEPARATE covers, not one continuous, pre-formed sheet of vinyl. They can be picked up and vacuumed underneath or washed easily. Hopefully the shipping department will find a better box to ship them in.

The vinyl runners would be better if they were wider to cover more area on each step. They seem to be good quality other than that one complaint.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was happy to find these after looking for clear vinyl treads for some time. They look nice, but are not heavy or rigid as I imagined they would be. After nearly 2 weeks use, they still don't seem to want to lie flat across the back edges. However, they grip the carpet quite well in front, and stay put when you walk on them. Overall, I'm glad I found them, and they are protecting the carpet as we hoped.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The vinyl stair treads were very clear and easy to install over both the Berber and the Plush carpeting on the stairs I worked on. I was impressed with the quality and the thickness of the vinyl.
I would recommend this to a friend!
