Chrome Roll-Out Floor Shelf 4.6 5 83 83
Pantry floor organized The floor of my pantry was a mess of items that couldn't fit on the shelves that I wanted to keep close at hand. The roll-out shelf meant I could organize all the items and easily pull the roll-out to get items at the back without having to bend over or get on my knees. June 2, 2012
Great quality-very functional Love the roll-out floor shelves. They look and work great; am using them in my closet (they are holding moderately heavy items) so I am able to pull out the shelves and clean the wood floor underneath with out having to do heavy lifting. June 2, 2012
Easy access This rolling shelf allows me easy access to items on the floor of my pantry. It keeps them out of the range of pesky insects, too. June 2, 2012
Perfect space enhancer This product I love. I have a kitchen cart with two open-work metal shelves and a butcherblock top. This slides right underneath, nearly matches the metal shelves, and holds a full shelf's worth of bowls, coffee cups, and the grandkids' tea set. The width is adjustable somewhat so it could fit under something narrower as well. It seems sturdy and rolls easily. This item was on back order for a long time and I am happy I chose to wait for it. My cabinet is smaller than the dimensions of this roll-out. However, If I turned the shelf 1/4 turn, the dimensions would work. BUT would the wheels function? Do the wheels turn 360 degrees? OR can they be installed to function in the above scenario? Please advise.

Answer:
The wheels do turn 360 degrees. My cabinet is a bit smaller than the dimensions listed but with a little turn it pulls out very easily. I have heavy items on the shelf but the wheels still turn just fine.

Answer:
The wheels have to follow the mounting brackets so that only way they can go is straight.

Thank you for your question. To attach the wheels to the Chrome Roll-Out Floor Shelf, expand the sides, insert the caster stem into the holes on the plates and tighten with a nut..

the castors come with a stem which has a nut that cannot be removed, so I don't understand how the wheels get installed

can you hook two together lengthwise.

I have a weird pantry space under the stair that goes back over three feet before it meets the floor. It is a floored-in former stairwell and thus has walls on both sides. It is about 3 feet wide. I plan on blocking off the back part with a movable bookcase door. I need some way to use the space behind this, the part where it gets too low to stand.

From the side view, think an isosceles triangle. door into it at the side of the higher end, bookcase about half-way towards the sloped-down end, space behind it what I need to fill.

Can one hook two of these together length wise, so I'd end up with a two compartmented pullout 24 x 36 inches? Or would trying to hook them together mess up the function of the wheels?
