Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 101 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by looks great! The cedar pines I ordered came VERY quickly! I was pleasantly surprised because I didn't expect them until after the Christmas rush! I set them up right away and have had many compliments about them. I put them outside on each side of my garage doors and they look beautiful! Hope they hold up in this rainy Pacific Northwest climate. December 27, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by They almost look real! I was so excited when I received my 2 topiaries. They almost look real! I have them inside for now, but will eventually end up in my covered patio ( after I buy two more for inside! ). They are that nice! I want to place them all over the house! February 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Deer proof We have lots of deer in our area. We have lovely pots on each side of our driveway and needed to plant something in them that the deer wouldn't eat. These cedar topiaries are perfect for this. We've received lots of compliments on them and no one guessed that they weren't real until we told them. We'll bring them into the garage for the winter so that they won't get blown away, but they'll go back out next spring. They are really beautiful. October 24, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Topiary that looks so real you have to touch it to believe it isn't! This tree is a lovely addition to our home. We placed it inside at the bottom of our stairs. It looks real and even has a very light pine scent. It doesn't take up much space. It's exactly what we needed in that area to make it interesting. Assembly was simple. November 20, 2011

Answer:
Thank you for your question.
Improvements recommends that they are in a weighted urn or planter to keep if from blowing away or over. Even though these are in weighted pots they are tapered and can fall down with strong winds.
They can be left outside but if exposed in the open water can get in the tops of the pots, these do not drain out. Best to maintain them by lightly hosing off any debris carried on it from the rain and wind that sits on the branches etc.
