THIS EMERGENCY RADIO PRODUCT I RECENTLY PURCHASED IS THE #1 "EMERGENCY RADIO" UNIT I HAVE OWNED TO DATE. THE CRANK WORKS WELL, AND THEN ADD THE 3 OTHER OPTIONS TO CHARGE THE UNIT- TRULY A NEEDED PRODUCT FOR EVERY HOME AND BUSINESS.

EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE ONE!
I love this radio. Been looking for something like this. I drag it around with me all day to listen to my talk radio shows. Works great with the solar panel. Have not tried the crank yet. It also works on batteries or plug it in. Great product. Only wish that they sent the universal verizon charger for the phone

I was somewhat surprised at the size and weight of the radio. I thought it would be larger and heavier. I am hoping that the radio will be satisfactory and meet the needs in the event of an emergency.

ruined our cell phone
We selected the attachment that would charge our cell phone and plugged it in to see how it would work. When we pulled the attachment of, some little piece of the attachment broke off and lodged itself in the phone charge input. As a result, it is no longer possible to charge the cell phone, so we had to throw it away and but a new one, which cost more than the radio. We couldn't even give the old phone to Verizon to give to needy people.

Perfect for Emergencies
I purchased this because I live in the mid-west where we experience severe weather in the Spring. I especially like it because I can recharge my cell phone with it. The crank/solar radio is an integral part of my emergency kit. I like it so much, I purchased two more for family members in Florida and NYC.
