multi-purpose radio proves very handy
this product is very useful on many levels...we plan to use it when we go camping, to the beach, at the park, in case of a power failure, etc...

Very compact and portable.
We get lots of electrical storms and high winde for most of the year. This device is so unique with it's multiple ways to get power, everyone should have one.We look foward to our next blackout. Picks up radio signals very well and has decent quality sound.

An attractive, efficient, handy radio
I have been looking for a small portable radio for a while. We are often outside and like to have a radio with us. This is a good size, easy to carry or even put in a large pocket in a jacket. the solar power is quite good. I am considering buying another one as my husband and I are often at different places on our farm and we each like this. A good value.
I would definitely recommend it.

May be worth reading. One problem.
I needed a good radio for my grab, and go bag.I tested this radio every way I could think of . First thing I did was to read the manual twice, something I hate doing.I wanted to be sure any problems I found were not because I messed up.Here Is what I found out. This all Is based on testing on low volume, and non-stop day, and night. With the built In radio batteries charged, and brand new AA batteries.RADIO LIGHT ran 33 hours.BATTERY PACK played radio 32 hours. HAND CRANKED for 3 min.radio played for 2 hours. SOLAR CHARGE charged 6 hours In bright sun radio played 6 hours. AA new batteries played radio 79 hours. One problem ! I live In the mountains, millions of trees, and It was partly cloudy each day except one,and AM stations were hard to find that you could hear well. FM stations did better In the day time, then they did at night. But remember my tree problem. The weather stations played well once you found the one for your area. Maybe I was just BLESSED with a good radio.
