Rated 2 out of 5 by Inadequate hook The hook on this hanger was too small for the application I had intended (hanging an outdoor clock). March 1, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Didn't work for me. It might work for some bricks. But the mortar in my bricks was too level with the brick and the clasps would not catch. They look good just to look at them and would probably work for some people. February 6, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Didn't work Despite the product description, these hangers did not work on our brick fireplace. Additionally, $3+ each is a pretty high price. January 6, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by doesn't work on my bricks our fireplace bricks have rounded edges and as such, the hangers do not grip or stay on the bottom "spring" as the diagram suggests. The photo provided in the magazine shows striated new bricks - this might be the only kind of bricks these work on. I have the top tooth part of the hanger kind of stuck into the top of my bricks so - it's a work around...I'm not out a lot of money and it sort of December 1, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Didn't fit These are a great idea, but they don't fit my bricks. My house was built in 2008. December 6, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Didn't work for my purpose The first brick I tried to put it on, the bottom of it broke off. It cost too much in postage to send them back for a refund, so I just ate the $20 bucks I paid for them. October 24, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Only works if your bricks are new and exactly the right size... We purchased a bunch to hang small pin-up boards on the brick walls next to our desks in our office. They didn't work - our bricks are iregular - spacing between the rows and bricks varies, and some of the bricks have rounded edges - it's an old mill building. The hangers will only work if your bricks are new (crisp edges) and exactly the right size and spacing. They are spring/tension clips, and aren't adjustable. We ended up using brick anchors - not too hard, and very strong. October 25, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by i do not recommend this product does not work on irregular surfaced brick, the one broke when trying to place it on the brick December 7, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Couldn't Attach to Brick My masonry is at least an 1/8 inch, however I could not get the hanger to attach. Furthermore, I found the quality to be pretty cheap. December 21, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by brick hangers total rip off. I cannot get them to stay on the bricks February 3, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointing lack of flexibility Product needs better description. Didn't realize the hook would be so small and item is completely useless for my purpose. Product needs to come in an array of sizes. November 21, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Brick Hangers This is a poor copy of a previously used great product. The top edge which is supposed to grip the brick is only 1/4 inch in depth which is insufficient to grip the uneven edge of most bricks. The older version of this clip had 1/2-3/4 of an inch depth with teeth which attached very securely to all brick types. Don't waste your money on this product. January 4, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Didn't meet the need - but not the fault of the product. In my situation, there isn't enough exposed brick for the hangers to adequately "grab" the bricks. Consequently, they do not meet the need. Would be a great option in a situation where the mortar was recessed a bit between the bricks exposing enough of the brick edge for the hanger to hold onto the brick. May 15, 2015
