Blackout Buddy Emergency Flashlight 2-Pack 4.8 5 86 86
Great flashlights When the electricity went out for 3 hours, my company was impressed with the amount of light the flashlight produced. We were able to find the little lights plugged up and use them to find things in our office. We have bought 8 flashlights for our office. November 3, 2011
A Great Night Light I purchased two packs of these and have not had the opportunity to use any of them for "flashlights", as they make such a nice night light for several rooms in our home. Much nicer, and brighter, than the traditional lightbulb style night. I'm sure that anyone would be pleased with this purchase as a single or dual purpose light. December 7, 2011
Blackout Buddy These blackout buddy emergency lights will surely help the next time we have a power outage. I like the idea that they are also flashlights. Keep on making these wonderful products! December 17, 2011
Great security lighting. Just plug in and you have instant nite light, which includes a built in flashlight when you remove from socket. Also, nice to know you will have light during power failure. January 4, 2012

Answer:
Yes, it does. Althought, when power stops and it's plugged in, it will light. To stop that, you need to remove it from the electric socket.

Answer:
Earle,

Two buttons on this item. One on the bottom says auto and off. Auto provides you with a night light when it is plugged in plus the flashlight comes on when the power goes off. Off has no night light but comes on ( as a flashlight) when the power goes off. The other button turns the flashlight off when you are using it removed from the wall. I think I got that right. Whew!

Answer:
Yes, this item can be turned off while plugged in so there is no light night. But once the electric goes out and there is no current, the flashlight will come on. It has a power button that will turn the light off completely and a switch to have the night light come on automatically or it can be turned off if switched to the 'off' postition. So it can be used as a night light with an emergency flash light or just a night light, or no light at all. And if you power it completely off it will only light up when the electric goes off. It's very versatile, I highly recommend it! I hope this answered your question!

Answer:
Yes, you can have it on auto or off and the light will only come on if the power goes off. If you take it out of the wall then you can use it as a flashlight and turn it off when not in use.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. The Blackout Buddy Emergency Flashlights are packaged in one "clam-shell" so you would need to remove them from the packaging to use them as 2 stocking stuffers.
