First we tried my husband's newer TomTom on this pad but the tilt was wrong. He couldn't see the GPS screen and it could not be adjusted differently. But when he put the older TomTom on it, it worked perfectly.
I have only used GPS one time but the window mount blocked my vision and I did not want to try to mount and dismount the unit. So this new item is just what the doctor ordered, and now I am willing to used GPS. I'm excited to try it.

The beanbag mount fits our Magellan and Garmin and stays put on the dash. I like not having to mount it to the windshield.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This item was received as a gift but I couldn't be more pleased with it,. Works perfectly in my vehicle no matter where I place it. For the price, it's unbeatable!

I ordered two dashboard beanbags. Both are of average-to-good construction although the center mounting disc is not as smooth as I would like it. One must be extra careful that and suction cup used is applied slightly damp and pushed firly in place before setting the cup's lever.
The beanbag does not slide on the dashboard and offeres a firm mount for a raised, somewhat heavy, radar detector.
I would recommend this to a friend!
