Bay Window Curtain Rod is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bay Window Curtain Rod I have been looking for a curtain rod that would fit a bay window and finally found one in the Improvements catalog, so I ordered one and was very surprised at how good it looks and was actually quite easy to put up. It came with all the hardware and tools you needed to put it up. I would recommend this to anyone who is tired of bending rods to fit a bay window.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what we were looking for We bought 1 bay curtain rod for our sliding door bay combo, 2 larger and 1 smaller rod to complete our first floor. Love the style, finish and overall look the rods provide. The wrap around privacy feature is a bonus. Products were fairly easy to install and we thought the prices were great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what we were looking for.... We have been searching for a while for a sturdy, contemporary looking AND reasonably priced curved curtain rod for our bay windows and this product fit our requirements perfectly. Very adjustable and easy to install. It provided the necessary touch to finish off the remodeling of our living room and dining room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this works wonderfully !! I have a "mock" bay window and unless I used pressure rods and inside window jam curtains I would always get a place that would hang open ! I resorted to putting up blinds with the inside curtains on pressure rods over, I hated it. I found this rod on you site and it is just wonderful, no open spots drapes hang just right and no loss of floor space from curtains being out in the room away from the window !! I just love this rod !!

Is the Pewter more of a silver color or is it gold? I can't tell by the photo. When I Google pewter, it looks more silver.

I want something that resembles brushed nickle since that's what we have in the house already. If it's a tad bit gold, I might be able to work with that.

Ceiling mount

Can these rods be put up as a ceiling mount? I don't have any room above my window. Also, how far down would they hang if they can be ceiling mounted? thanks, Debbie
Asked by: Debthedecorator
Hello. Unfortunately, the design of the frame would not be ideal for mounting on a ceiling, we do not recommend it. Thank you!

How does the pewter color compare to the nickel color of the Privacy Wrap-around Rod?

I need this Bay Window Rod and a Privacy Wrap-around Rod for another window in the same room. The color on this one is called "pewter" and the Privacy Wrap-around Rod comes in "nickel". The colors look quite different on the website. However, in an answer to a previous question, the color was described as "a dull grayish silver". Will the pewter and nickel rods work together in the same room?

Please note these are not identical as one is plated and one is painted.

Can this curtain rod be used with just one side & the center?

Asked by: HIgal
Hello, we do not recommend trying to install just 1 side and a center as this has not been tested for efficiency. Thanks again for contacting Improvements!

Do you need to unfasten from the wall to take down curtains

or can you just slide out the rod?
Asked by: costnquality
no they have little set screws holding the rod to the brackets you just loosen the screw and lift off the rod. its very simple.
