Rated 5 out of 5 by from solved the problem The vent was the end of a long ac line and didn't have great flow. Was looking at getting another line installed but would cost a lot. Tried this and it works great. Solved the problem and a lot less money. Would recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It actually works We bought this fan to help with a room in our Florida condo that was the last room on an central air conditioning vent run. The room is our master bedroom. The room never got the air flow of any other room, so it was always warmer then the rest of the condo. We had it hard wired into the vent that supplied the room and it immediately improved the situation. You can hear the fan click on when it starts to work but it is not loud enough to create sleeping problems. It's not perfect, but now it's completely livable. I am buying an additional one now, three years later, in case it eventually stops working. So far, so good.

Will the AirFlow Breeze fit a register of 8" x 10"? I was wonder if the fan would fit over the air duct and I could make new holes for the screws.

Would this be good for heat as well?

I see comments for use of this for cooling a room, what about heating as well? We live in Pittsburgh so need something that helps either way.
Asked by: bluej
I would think it would work just as efficiently for heat as well.

My ac unit doesn't work all that well could this help if I put a couple in my house?

Asked by: Brikay
Yes. My bedrooms are on the opposite end of the house from the a/c and these units make all the difference.
