I was expecting a little more density in the material.
I can see sunlight filter through and not waterproof. I'm sure it will be faded beyond usage for next season. For the price, not worth the shipping costs. Can buy same in any store

Beautiful umbrella - great value
I was looking for a new umbrella and since I had ordered new chaise cushions and throw pillows from Improvements, I decided to look for an umbrella to compliment my purchases. This umbrella is great!! The color is vibrant and so easy to assemble. I also like the crank mechanism and that you can angle the umbrella to block the sun. I liked it so much that I ordered matching seat cushions that arrived yesterday and they are great. So happy I decided on this entire purchase!

Glad I fouund this umbrella
I looked for a soft yellow replacement umbrella for some time.
Not everyone offers just the umbrella. You have to purchase the pole too, something I did not need. The pole I have works & looks just fine.
Most everyone offers either a very dark yellow or a golden yellow too. This soft yellow is perfect. It matches the rest of our patio set nicely.
Looks like its made with a sturdy material too. Way more sturdy than the original umbrella we purchased with our set..
And, it's priced just right. Others want a heck of a lot more.
Only negtive here is it's a bit too big when opened. You can see some slack betwen the ribs. But, it's slight and may tigthen up in the sun with some time.
I'm glad I found this umbrella and wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. It's a great value for the money.

Are there swatches available to order to view fabric colors? I am trying to match chaise cushions I purchased from Improvements in the Spice Orange color - not sure if the melon is the same color or not

Spice Orange is in the selection of 14 colors Improvements offers for our 6', 7-1/2', 9', 11' Outdoor Deluxe Umbrellas items 415469, 415477, 416025, 415493.
The Melon color does not match the Spice Orange color.

Thank you for your question.The rib count for the 9' Deluxe Umbrella is 8. The replacement canopy has 8 pockets for 8 ribs. These items are exclusive to Improvements.
